Eastern coach David Henley started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Maynard Gray, 6-1 Sr. Aaron Matthews, 6-3 So. Trey Moses, 5-9 Jr. Chris Renfroe, and 6-0 Sr. Demontay Hassell.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-8 Sr. Nick Trisko, 6-6 Sr. Charles Sweat-Washington, 6-9 Jr. Jackson Davis, 5-9 Jr. Dequise Robinson, and 6-2 Jr. Lance Blakely.

Lafayette defeated Eastern by a score of 72-59.  Lafayette shot 55.8% from the field including two of eight from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Eastern turnovers.  Eastern shot 37.5% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on nine of 17 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 25 Lafayette turnovers.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 25 points and 12 rebounds.  Davis was 12 of 16 from the field and one of three from the free throw line.  Charles Sweat-Washington added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Nick Trisko recorded nine points and 10 rebounds.

6-2 Sr. Jordan Brangers led Eastern with 17 points and three steals.  6-3 Sr. Jocari Beattie added 15 points.  Chris Renfroe recorded 12 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
