Notre Dame  vs.  Madison Central (Girls)

Notre Dame coach Nicole Levandusky started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Carlee Clemons, 5-11 Jr. Elly Ogle, 5-10 So. Haylee Smith, 5-8 Jr. Page Kellam, and 5-10 Sr. Olivia Voskuhl.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 6-2 Sr. Ashton Feldhaus, 5-9 Sr. Heather Hinkle, 6-2 Jr. Shadae Bosley, 5-5 Jr. Bailey O’Bryan, and 5-5 Sr. Larryn Brooks.

Madison Central defeated Notre Dame 61-51 to claim the championship.  Madison Central shot 48.7% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 20 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off seven Notre Dame turnovers.  Notre Dame shot 37.5% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Pandas connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Madison Central turnovers.

Larryn Brooks led Madison Central with 26 points including 13 of 15 free throws.  Brooks was six of nine from the field including connecting on her only three point attempt.  Ashton Feldhaus added 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Carlee Clemons led Notre Dame with 17 points and five rebounds.  Olivia Voskuhl added 15 points and five rebounds and Haylee Smith recorded eight points and seven rebounds.

Madison Central   15  21  10  15 – 61

Madison Central (61) – Feldhaus 20, Hinkle 4, Bosley 5, O’Bryan 4, Brooks 26, Cain 2.
