Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Braxton McFarland, 6-2 Sr. Darius Gibson, 6-4 Fr. Jordan Fucci, 6-0 Sr. Dai Quan Epps, and 5-9 Sr. Brian Tilford.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 So Trey Grundy, 6-4 So. Jordan Green, 6-5 Jr. Darien Tichenor, 5-8 Sr. Wes Kimball, and 6-0 So. Christen Cunningham.

Henry Clay defeated Tates Creek by a score of 47-39.  Henry Clay shot 41.3% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 36.1% from the field including zero of four from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers.

Christen Cunningham and Wes Kimball led Henry Clay with 10 points each.  Jordan Green added eight points and seven rebounds.  Trey Grundy also scored eight points.

Jordan Fucci led Tates Creek with 13 points and six rebounds.  Darius Gibson added 11 points.
