Week Six in Review September 25-26

Friday September 25th

Lexington Catholic 27  Lexington Christian Academy 26 - Lexington Catholic rallied from a 26-14 deficit after a two hou delay due to lightning to defeat LCA by a score of 27-26.

Highlands 12  Cincinnati St. Xavier 7 - Highlands QB Will Bardo gained 135 yards and scored a TD to lead the Bluebirds to victory over a team that had previously defeated St. Xavier and Trinity this season.

Scott County 40  Clark County 0 - Scott County raced out to a 40-0 halftime lead in a game that was called in the third quarter due to lightning.  Josh Walls carried the ball five times for 84 yards and scored on runs of 6 and 52 yards.

Bryan Station 22  Pleasure Ridge Park 12 - Tevin McCaden carried the ball 30 times for 287 yards and two TDs as Bryan Station improves to 5-0.

Tates Creek 29  North Bullitt 7 - Tates Creek QB Dee Christopher completed 16 of 24 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Commodores to victory.

Lafayette 12  Henry Clay 9 - Lafayette knocked Henry Clay from the unbeaten ranks sparked by a 78 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Marlon Johnson.

Johnson Central 36  Breathitt County 14 - J.J. Jude carried the ball 20 times for 245 yards and three touchdowns including a 91 yard TD run to lead the Golden Eagles to victory.

Simon Kenton 56  Conner 14 - QB Miles Simpson scored on runs of 52, 2, 3, 22, and 9 yards to lead the Pioneers to victory.

Boyle County 49  Danville 9 - Rees MacShara ran for 196 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead the Rebels to victory.

Bourbon County 28  Owen County 7 - Taylor Barnes gained 278 yards on 33 carries and scored on runs of 17, 60, 55, and 35 yards to lead the Colonels to victory.

Trinity 9  Bowling Green 0 - The Shamrocks notched three field goals and their defense pitched a shutout for a big win.

Anderson County 41  Grant County 0 - QB Jacob Russell scored on runs of 55 and 1 yards and threw two TD passes to lead the Bearcats to victory.

Shelby County 20  Nelson County 16 - Branden Cresap threw TD strikes of 59 and 11 yards to Ben Axline to lead the Rockets to victory.

Monroe County 21  Metcalfe County 6 - Jackson Arnett scored three touchdowns as Monroe County improves to 6-0.
