Meals
the art of served food and drink

In the Middle Ages, there were generally three meals per day--the breaking of the fast, dinner, and supper (although celebrations called for much more food and drink consumption). Dinner and supper especially consisted of multiple courses of various dishes of similar food. Ale, wine, or beer was generally served at every meal, although the consistency of these drinks was often so thick it could almost be chewed, and not always even tasty.
