| Throughout this form you should maintain full concentration. Look straight
ahead, and touch your tongue to your upper palate of your mouth. With mouth
closed, breathe normally through your nose. Whenever you use your palm,
keep your fingers together, and your thumb tucked in tightly so that your
fingers and thumb are protected. Similarly, when using a fist, curl the
fingers tightly, and place the thumb over the 2nd section of the index
finger. |
In the neutral stance, keep your feet slightly wider apart than your
shoulder width with both feet parallel to each other. Squat down slightly,
squeeze the knees toward each other, and push your tail forward. Your head,
neck and body should be aligned, and your thigh and buttocks should be
tensed so that the energy can travel to the upper part of the body, generated
from the thigh muscle, the largest muscle of the body. This stance is known
as the 'Yee Ji Kim Yeung Ma'. |
