"Reading Train Man.. New Book!!!"
30th September 2006, 0111A.M.
Haha. So long never update le... I thought it would be good to share what am I reading now...? Haha. I just got this new book called, "Train man." It's a japanese novel but it said INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER...Over a million copies sold... Since I had nothing to do right? I must well read something. Its bored in camp nowadays especially when you have nothing to do. Haha. Anyway, its written as an adventure by a guy in a japanese forum. It is sort of like a interactive diary in which he describes what happens for the day and he relates it to others on the Net. These people helps to give advice on how he could get to know a girl in a train he had met someday in an destiny fated way. It just so happened that someone by the name, "Nakano Hitori" compiled all these forum threads into a story for others ( like me? ) to read. Its very interesting. It will keep you glued on the spot. Pst.. its no fun telling you what happened until you read it yourself right? LOL. Anyway... Im going off to read the book le... Wakaka. If you wana read it, get it at TIMES bookshop.
Its looks like this:
Enjoy hor!
jiak neh! Ohyatsumi!
( Goodbye n goodnite respectively in jap)
"Appreciating time better..."
09th September 2006, 1140 P.M.
Yesterday, I booked out at around 7 plus in the evening and reached home at around 9. I had to rush to the airport to meet my friend, Justin who was my college classmate. He would be flying off to Taiwan for 3 weeks of armour training. I reached the airport at around 11 P.M. I had the opportunity to meet up with my old acquaintances. They were my old college mates. We had the chance to catch up on our past. Haha. It felt really nice to meet up with them after such a long time of lost contact. In the end, after sending Justin off, I got home at around 0130 A.M. Thanks to my acquaintances who had a friend driving a van. He sent me home. Anyway, I did made new friends. He was an Nsmen too. He was called back for reservice recently. He's 30. Haha. He was pretty nice to talk too. Well, he was the one who drove me back home. Really nice of him.
Today, I woke up at around noon. Haha. I had intended to meet my buddies to go for lunch the day before. When I reached Orchard's Republic Food Court, I almost had a shock when Daniel told me that he had a girlfriend and she went to buy food. OMG. Then, what am I doing there right? Be a walking lamp post ? I almost wanted to leave. Previously that morning he had told me that Johnson was not going. So I thought, "Okay.." and I left it at that. Never would I have expected this cheeky friend of mine to lie to me. You know what happened in the end? Haha. Yuehong and Johnson appeared.
"There! These are my girlfriends... ," Daniel says.
It came as a pleasant surprise. I thought that it would have been just two of us going out, which was kinda.... gay ? Haha. Anyway, it felt really good to see them too. I had a nice bunch of company in the end. =) After eating at the foodcourt, we walked to LIDO to look around. We went TCC. I had some desserts and oreo milk shake. Its been too long since I had time for such 'royal' stuff? Haha After that, we went to Heeren.. Nothing much except the first floor had a lot of shops which were renovating. Even the HMV shop closed its first floor department. I had a shock initially. I thought they closed down. Haha. After that, we went to Plaza Singapura. We tried to get tickets for the korean horror show, The Host. It was full attendance. So... we had to go to Cathay which was next door. I dont know whether it was fortunate or not because when we heard that they still had good seats left, we were so happy. The best part... Haha. the show really sucked. Coz the ending was so lame. Trust me. Even if you had time, you wouldnt want to waste time watching this stupid show. Watch the show next time when the VCD is out. Next time, whenever they say that a korean show had 4 stars out of 5, maybe I would reconsider more carefully. Paying 9.50 on a weekend to watch a lame show isnt exactly what I would ask for. Listen up... Director of The Host , Nice fake there when you did that Trailer... Everybody thought it was a good show. Ugh. Well, enough about that. Guess who I bumped into during my trip to PS? Haha. Look below:
Yes... Its SPONGEBOB !!!
Haha. You would laugh too when you hear the kids all singing the Spongebob squarepants song. They were all definitely enjoying themselves with all the screaming and shouting. Haha.
My friend had a very nice Tshirt too. I thought it was cute. It looked like this:
Dog?
Anyway, the day ended with dinner at "Out Of The Pan" at Raffles City. Some of the dishes I would recommend are their crepes. The cheese sausage crepes is nice. So is their bacon crepe and their peking duck crepe. Potato salad is nice too. Haha. I did not know they had UOB discount privileges. When I used my UOB card, there was 15% discount. Not bad. Considering they discounted almost all of the G.S.T. Haha. I had a sumptous dinner. Thanks guys! You made my day. Wakakaka. *GRIN* Lets go out again some time soon.. heh heh.
"Funkin In Da' M.O.S Club..."
03rd September 2006, 0822 P.M.
I went to The Ministry of Sound ( M.O.S ) last friday. It was pretty crowded that night. I went there with my classmates at around 1040 P.M. During that time, the crowd was still warming up at the RnB spot. Well, the retro room wasnt exactly open yet. We had to wait for it to open at around 11 P.M.? Haha. My classmate, Justin suggested we go Mac to kill some time before the actual party started. Nothing much. The Mac was packed with people either going to M.O.S or Some NUS party nearby. Don't know where. I forgot the place. We met one of our college girls there too. I think her name was Grace, from S17 i think. Whatever.
Anyway, we got back to M.O.S soon after and started partying. Man. The club was HOT. Okay. Not exactly hot physically but you know... I meant the party. By around 12 Midnight, the RnB Spot was filled to the brim. The spot we were dancing at was pretty small and other people had to shove and push around to get to the middle. The first drink was a screwdriver made up of orange juice with Vodka. I felt pretty cool by then. It was really amazing to feel the cold air after such a hot dance at the RnB Spot. Haha.
These are some of the pictures I taken at the Hot partying at M.O.S :

Retro room - mostly foreigners

Techno Room - Lots of people partying

Techno Room still... - Nice lighting

First Floor View of Techno room - Lighting is excellent

Drinks Bar - How about some Bloody Mary?
Overall, the M.O.S is a cool place to chill out with different rooms of different genre. Haha. Shall we get the party started ?
