"Going to Taiwan..."

21st July 2006, 0930 P.M.

4 more hours... 4 more before i fly off to Taiwan. I wish i had more time to be home... in Singapore. I will miss the food..my family...my friends... every single bit of it. I dont want to leave my home actually. I will be home sick. When the flight starts at 0140 A.M, I will start to think back... on all the memories i have accumulated over the years... the happy...the sad... everything. For some reason or another, I really dont want to fly off... i miss my bed. My mp3 player. Everything. I will be there three weeks. I cant stand that. I hope I can come back fast. I will miss you guys. I will blog about my trip when I come back. Miss you guys... Bye..

"My new voodoo doll from mini toons...SPIKE"

Haha. This is my new little voodoo doll named Spike. I just bought it at Mini Toons last week when I had a night's out. Lol. Funny little doll. Actually, Iwasnt into this kinda of dolls or something? It's just that I saw this cousin of mine having another voodoo doll which i thought was pretty funny. I asked her about it and she said there were quite a number of them with different qualities. This one is supposed to help me fight off all my bad luck so that my good luck will accumulate. =) See the spear on the left hand? That's supposed to be his weapon. *grin* There are many more types at mini toons. If you want, you guys and check it out at www.minitoons.com. Haha. wealth, fortune and good luck. Depending on what you want, I think you can get it. Many designs for one type quality too. Hahaha.

Recently, I have just made up my mind on something. It concerns my future as to what I will be in the future. Its about my job and ambition. I have always wanted to be a media designer. You know. Like those japanese dramas where you see young adults carrying portfolios of their designs around place, from office to office. The good thing is you can to move around and search for clients and show them your deigns. And not just sitting around doing your office work and whatever. Boring isnt it? The best part... is you get to dress like a designer who can show your creativity and taste through your clothes. Unique taste of clothes = Unique taste of designs.

However, the world is not always perfect as it seems. You see, I do not possess very good A level results and I cant get into NTU's school of art, design and media. Moreover, I did not do any art course in my younger years. I was at a disadvantage. Im now in a dilemma. My dad is just asking me to get any university degree. Yet, my interest does not lie in other courses. So what's the point? I really want to do design media. I thought of going to polytechnics like Temasek Poly to get a dipolma in that area. However, I do not want to disappoint my dad too.

After thinking so much for the past few weeks, i finally arrived a choice which might be able to make both sides happy. I am going to be a teacher. In that way, I can get into university and at the same time, I can do media design once I am posted to a school. I can join a CCA club specialising in design media and be the teacher in charge. This is the best solution so far I guess. Can anyone give me better solutions? Don't tell me to go overseas please? There are things in Singapore I just cant simply put down just like that. Better ideas, anyone?
