The 91 fic challenge was posed to the GWfan ML in December of 2000. I had a little extra time on my hands, and so I was talking to my friend Echo, when I got it into my head to find out how many possible pairings there were in the GW fandom. I used the main 14 characters; Heero(1), Duo(2), Trowa(3), Quatre(4), Wufei(5), Zechs(6), Relena, Hilde, Noin(9), Catherine, Une(11), Dorothy, Treize(13), and Sally. I did a combination with my calculator (applied math! yeay! :P)and the outcome was 91. try it. so naturally, I, being the strange person that I am, sent out a challenge to all authors on the list to sign up for some random pairings (Yaoi, Yuri and het) to contribute to my efforts to amass all 91 pairings.
