of the Blind
If you are looking for employment, JoblineŽ is a free public service provided by state agencies with assistance from the National Federation of the Blind and the United States Department of Labor. This service is available on the telephone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. New jobs are listed on the system each day, and jobs that are filled are removed. All that is required is a touch-tone telephone to establish your personalized job-search profile.
Information about calling the system is provided by job-service representatives or job-placement counselors. We recommend contacting your state agency for the blind & inquiring as to whether this service is currently available in your local area. You can also call the NFB national office, in Baltimore, MD, at (410) 659-9314 for more information.
