of the Blind
of Greater
Summit County

The NFB of Greater Summit County advocates for blind Ohioans in & around the Greater Akron area who are not receiving the services to which they are entitled or who have faced discrimination. Blind Ohioans can receive information about social security benefits, supplemental security income, rehabilitation, transportation and library services. If you, or someone you know, is experiencing vision loss & are not being treated fairly, contact us to see how we can help. Call (330) 865-8471 or you can e-mail us if you prefer.   If you are located outside the Akron Ohio area, you can call the NFB national office, in Baltimore, MD, at (410) 659-9314.
