Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-1 Sr. Josh Harris, 6-3 Sr. Tamron Manning, 5-10 Jr. Quin Richardson, and 5-11 So. Trenton Gilbert.  Perry County Central coach Allan Hatcher countered with 6-3 Sr. Kyle Huff, 6-2 Sr. Jaysean Paige, 6-7 Jr. Dalton Cornett, 5-10 Sr. Trevor Combs, and 5-8 8th grader Braxton Beverly.

Scott County defeated Perry County Central by a score of 66-56.  Scott County shot 45.5% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Perry County Central turnovers.  Perry County Central shot 47.6% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 12 points off six Scott County turnovers.

Trenton Gilbert led a balanced Scott County attack with 16 points including four three point baskets.  Tamron Manning added 15 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, and five steals.  Isaiah Ivey chipped in with 14 points.  Josh Harris also reached double figures with 12 points.

Jaysean Paige led Perry County Central with 32 points including four three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Dalton Cornett added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Henry Clay defeated Hazard by a score of 62-50.  Henry Clay shot 54.2% from the field including eight of 14 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on two of two free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off seven Hazard turnovers.  Hazard shot 45.2% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored six points off eight Henry Clay turnovers.

Christen Cunningham led Henry Clay with 17 points and five assists.  5-10 So. Teddy Ware added 15 points on five three point baskets.  Jordan Green chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Matt Thompson led Hazard with 16 points including two three point baskets.  Mack Hall added 12 points and six rebounds.  Josh Hollan chipped in with 10 points.

Jordan Fucci, 6-0 Sr. Dai Quan Epps, and 6-0 Jr. Vincent Mattox.  Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-4 Sr. David Greenwell, 6-2 Sr. William Starcher, 6-4 Sr. Addison Hollin, 5-10 So. Eli Boggess, and 6-1 Sr. Rodney Gross.

Woodford County trailed 38-36 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Tates Creek by a score of 54-43.  Woodford County shot 54.5% from the field includig one of eight from the three point line. The Jackets connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 15 points off nine Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 36% from the field including zero of nine from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Woodford County turnovers.

David Greenwell led Woodford County with 23 points and six rebounds.  Eli Boggess added 13 points.  Addison Hollin chipped in with 10 points.

Darius Gibson led Tates Creek with 16 points and seven rebounds.  Dai Quan Epps added 10 points and six rebounds.  Jordan Fucci chipped in with nine points.

Paul L. Dunbar coach Sara Van Horn started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Morgan McEldowney, 5-6 Jr. Lexus Edwards, 5-10 Jr. Lakeena Parks, 5-2 Jr. Jordin Fender, and 5-2 Jr. Kierra Muhammad.  Lexington Catholic acting head coach Nick Cann countered with 6-0 Sr. Alex Botkin, 5-10 Sr. Emily Johns, 6-0 Sr. Elizabeth Walton, 5-7 Sr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-8 Jr. Octavia Wilson.

Lexington Catholic defeated Dunbar by a score of 54-51.  Lexington Catholic led 45-23 in the final quarter but Dunbar went on a 15-0 run to pull within seven; 45-38 with 3:24 left in the game.  Dunbar evntually pulled to within two; 53-51 and actually had a chance to tie the game on a three point shot at the buzzer which hit the rim and bounced off  to end this exciting contest.  LexCath was flawless for the first three and a half quarters scoring at will inside but Dunbar’s press was devastating in the final minutes.

Lexington Catholic shot 54.1% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 18 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 29.5% from the field including zero of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs attempted 24 more shots (61-37) from the field than Lexington Catholic.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 31 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Alex Botkin led Lexington Catholic with 28 points, 18 rebounds, and four assists.  Botkin was 11 of 13 from the field and six of 10 from the free throw line.  Emily Johns added 13 points.

Morgan McEldowney led Dunbar with 13 points.  Jordin Fender added 11 points and Kierra Muhammad recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and six steals.  Lakeena Parks chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.

Trey Grundy led Henry Clay with 19 points.  5-10 So. Teddy Ware added 12 points on four three point baskets.

Trenton Gilbert led Scott County with 20 points including six three point baskets and pulled down nine rebounds.  Isaiah Ivey added 19 points.

Josh Hollan led Hazard with 14 points and five rebounds.  Matt Thompson added 11 points on 11 of 13 from the free throw line.

Ken’yale Demus led Lafayette with 20 points including four three point baskets.  5-10 Fr. Dee Givens added 10 points and nine rebounds.  Sarah Cooley recorded seven points and eight rebounds.

Destiny Carter led Henry Clay with eight points.  MacKenzie Claus added six points.  Sydney Dunham pulled down 13 rebounds.

The # 16 Scott County Lady Cardinals defeated Lincoln County by a score of 72-67 at Scott County.  Scott County was led in scoring by sophomore point guard, Audriana Christopher with 22 points and 4 assists.  Sophomore forward, Tereka Guyn had a double double with 21 points and 13 rebounds.  Senior guard Mary Logsdon also added 14 points as well in the victory.  Scott County outscored Lincoln County in the deciding second half by a score of 41-32.  Lincoln County was led in scoring by junior guard, Emily Fox with 15 points, including three 3 pointers.
