Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Sydney Dunham, 5-6 Jr. Samantha Kinchen, 5-10 Jr. MacKenzie Claus, 5-4 Sr. Ceci Evans, and 5-6 Fr. Destiny Carter.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-9 Sr. Taylor Mynear, 5-7 Sr. Emily Justice, 6-0 So. Sarah Cooley. 5-5 Sr. Sarah Martin, and 5-6 So. Ken’yale Demus.

Lafayette easily defeated a cold shooting (19.2% from the field) Henry Clay team by a score of 61-31.  Lafayette shot 41.9% from the field including eight of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 20 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 19.2% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 22 Lafayette turnovers.

Ken’yale Demus led Lafayette with 20 points including four three point baskets.  5-10 Fr. Dee Givens added 10 points and nine rebounds.  Sarah Cooley recorded seven points and eight rebounds.

Destiny Carter led Henry Clay with eight points.  MacKenzie Claus added six points.  Sydney Dunham pulled down 13 rebounds.
