Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Grace Berger, 5-7 So. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Sr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Fr. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 So. KiKi Samsel.  Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings countered with 5-10 Jr. Kirstie Henn, Sr. Eliza Love, 5-11 Jr. Raegan Williams, 5-6 So. Kathleen Scott, and 5-4 Jr. Alyssa Peak.

 

Bullitt East led 50-40 early in the final quarter but Sacred Heart Academy rallied for a 63-54 victory.  There were three lead changes and six ties in this game.  Sacred Heart shot 48.1% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 39% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Bullitt East held a 14-2 advantage on second chance points.

 

Ashlee Harris led Sacred Heart with 19 points including three three point baskets, five assists, and two steals.  5-9 So. Natalie Fichter added 18 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four steals.  Grace Berger recorded 11 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and four steals. 

 

5-10 Jr. Lindsey Duvall led Bullitt East with 16 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Raegan Williams added 14 points and 16 rebounds.  Kathleen Scott chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, and two steals.
