Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Lauren Boehm, 5-10 So. Peyton Riddle, 6-0 So. Sydney Southerland, 5-5 Fr. Juliette Smith, and 5-9 Sr. Bailey Hawkins.  Montgomery County coach John High countered with 5-8 Sr. Sarah Arnett, 5-7 8th Grade Kennedy Igo, 5-9 Jr. Lake Williamson, 5-4 So. Delaney Bromagen, and 5-5 Jr. Sidney Greene.

 

Scott County pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Montgomery County by a score of 73-57.  Scott County held a 31-6 advantage in second chance points and attempted 31 more shots (68-37) from the field than Montgomery County.  Scott County shot 41.2% from the field including eight of 25 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Montgomery County turnovers.  Montgomery County shot 37.8% from the field including one of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on 28 of 36 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.

 

Peyton Riddle led a balanced Scott County scoring attack with 14 points and five rebounds.  Lauren Boehm added 13 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals.  Bailey Hawkins also scored 13 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Sydney Southerland recorded 12 points and six rebounds.  Juliette Smith chipped in with 11 points.

 

Kennedy Igo led Montgomery County with 32 points including 15 of 17 free throws and three steals.  Sarah Arnett added nine points including seven of eight free throws.  Delaney Bromagen chipped in with seven points.
