Lexington Catholic coach Scott True Sr. started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Laken Pinkerman, 5-7 Sr. Jay Ballard, 5-9 Sr. Sarah Bonn, 5-3 So. Ashley Frebis, and 5-7 Sr. Caroline Osbourn.  George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham countered with 5-10 Sr. Sydney Anderson, 5-8 Fr. Jasmine Flowers, 6-3 Jr. Elizabeth Hardiman, 5-3 Sr. Lauren Welsh, and 5-8 Fr. Maaliya Owens.

 

George Rogers Clark shot a sizzling 60% from the field in a 65-48 victory over Lexington Catholic.  GRC shot 60% from the field including five of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 36.1% from the field including eight of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 13 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 GRC turnovers.

 

Maaliya Owens led GRC with 17 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Sydney Anderson added 17 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  5-10 Fr. Maleaha Bell chipped in with 12 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.  Elizabeth Hardiman recorded 10 points and four blocked shots.  Jasmine Flowers added six points and 10 assists.

 

Jay Ballard led Lexington Catholic including three three point baskets.  Caroline Osbourn added nine points , six assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Laken Pinkerman chipped in with eight points.  Sarah Bonn recorded seven points and five rebounds.  5-6 So. Maya Jazdzewski  also scored seven points.
