Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Cameron Greenup, 6-0 Sr. Harrison Lane, 6-6 Sr. Ross Jenkins, 5-9 Sr. TJ Downey, and 5-10 Sr. Jaelin Jenkins.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Sr. Leander Ridgeway, 6-3 So. Justin Mitchell, 6-5 Sr. Jordan Houston, 5-9 Sr. Jaquise Simpson, and 6-1 Sr. Isaiah Tisdale.

 

Henry Clay shot a sizzling 66.7% (10 of 15) from beyond the arc in an 80-58 rout of Lafayette tonight.  Henry Clay shot 57.8% from the field including 10 of 15 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 18 of 32 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 32.1% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 16 of 27 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

5-9 Sr. Paul Price came off the bench to lead Henry Clay with 29 points including seven three point baskets.  Price was 10 of 13 from the field including seven of eight from beyond the arc and two of two free throws.  Leander Ridgeway added 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Isaiah Tisdale chipped in with nine points.  Justin Mitchell recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

 

Ross Jenkins led Lafayette with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Fr. Evan Dreux added eight points including two three point baskets.
