Action Sports Academy coach Cam Dailey started the following lineup: 6-6 Shakir Brown, 6-3 Shaquille Calhoun, 6-8 Abdi Nur, 5-10 Tivius Guthrie, and 6-2 Jah’Sheme Ringgold. Hargrave Military Academy coach A.W. Hamilton countered with 6-4 Donte Clark, 6-3 Cody Russell, 6-8 Emeka Ikezu, 6-1 Shannon Evans, and 6-3 Anton Gill.
This game was divided into two 20 minute halves and Hargrave Military Academy defeated Action Sports Academy 139-135 after two overtimes. Hargrave shot 38.9% from the field including 15 of 48 from the three point line. They connected on 40 of 51 free throws, pulled down 66 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 20 Action Sports Academy turnovers. Action Sports Academy shot 44.7% from the field including 14 of 33 beyond the arc. They connected on 29 of 39 free throws, pulled down 71 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Hargrave turnovers.
6-1 Terry Rozier led Hargrave Military Academy with 68 points including eight three point baskets, nine rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Rozier was 19 of 37 from the field including eight of 14 from beyond the arc, and 22 of 24 free throws. Anton Gill added 28 points including four three point baskets, pulled down 11 rebounds, and recorded four steals. 6-4 Gervelle Kidd chipped in with 12 points. Donte Clark recorded 11 points and six rebounds. Shannon Evans added 10 points and 11 rebounds. Emeka Ikezu pulled down 10 rebounds.
6-0 Derek Harper led Action Sports Academy with 33 points including four three point baskets. 6-8 Dante Ottley added 25 points and 14 rebounds. Tivius Guthrie chipped in with 17 points and six assists. Shakir Brown recorded 17 points and six rebounds. 6-0 Micah Thomas added 10 points and Abdi Nur pulled down 11 rebounds.
