Jarod Griffin.  Butler coach Shawn Purlee countered with 6-2 Sr. Demetrius McReynolds, 6-0 So. Jeremiah Bell, 6-2 So. Will Johnson, 5-11 Sr. Monty Harbin, and 5-11 Sr. Rashawn Farrell.

Lexington Catholic led 44-43 entering the final period but Butler outscored the Knights 24-12 in the final quarter to earn a 67-56 victory.  Butler shot 39.2% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line.  The Bears connected on 19 of 23 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 47.7% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds and did not score off 11 Butler turnovers.

Demetrius McReynolds led Butler with 24 points including three three point baskets.  Rashawn Farrell added 11 points and five assists.  Monty Harbin also scored 11 points.  Will Johnson chipped in with 10 points.

Jack Whitman led Lexington Catholic with 23 points and 14 rebounds.  Tanner Johnson added 14 points including four three point baskets.

Scott defeated Perry County Central by a score of 70-67.  Scott held a 24-12 advantage in three point points and a 16-3 advantage in free throw points.  Scott shot 52.3% from the field including eight of 16 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Perry County Central turnovers.  Perry County Central shot 53.6% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on only three of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off six Scott turnovers.  Perry County Central held a 20-5 advantage in second chance points.

Nick Jackson was named Game MVP and led Scott with 27 points and seven rebounds.  Jackson was 10 of 14 from the field including one of one from beyond the arc, and six of seven free throws.  Josh Felts added 12 points.  Tyler Buckner and Eric Pouncy each recorded nine points with three and two three point baskets respectively.

Teddy Ware blistered the nets for eight three point baskets in the first half to lead Henry Clay to a 54-33 halftime lead on their way  to a 90-64 victory over Southwestern.  Henry Clay  shot 57.8% from the field including 12 of 21 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 19 Southwestern turnovers.  Southwestern shot 44% from the field including nine of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Warriors connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.

Teddy Ware was named Game MVP and led Henry Clay with 29 points including nine three point baskets.  Jordan Green added 24 points on 10 of 10 from the field including one for one from beyond the arc, and three of four free throws.  Trey Grundy recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and four assists and Christen Cunningham dished out 12 assists.

David Kapinga led Southwestern with 22 points and six assists.  Isaiah Collier added 12 points on four three point baskets.  Justin Edwards and 6-3 So. Dylan Gaskin each recorded 10 points.

Ken-Jah Bosley was named Game MVP and led Madison Central with 25 points including six three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.  Dominique Hawkins added 22 points.  Quan Taylor recorded 19 points and seven rebounds.  Daniel Parke chipped in with 11 points and six assists.

Bullitt East trailed 51-42 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Pulaski County by a score of 69-62.  Bullitt East shot 35.1% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Chargers connected on 24 of 29 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 Pulaski County turnovers.  Pulaski County shot 39.3% from the field including eight of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Maroons connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 Bullitt East turnovers.  Pulaski County had three starters Taylor Gover, Tyler Goins, and Spencer Laign foul out of the game.

Tates Creek coach Tina Winn started the following lineup: 5-6 So. Haley Blackburn, 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen, 5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-8 So. Rachel Blake, 5-8 Sr. Octavia Wilson, 5-6 So. Tori Pippen, 5-4 Sr. Sara Cawood, and 5-4 So. Bailey Browning.

Tates Creek trailed 45-38 after three quarters but outscored Lexington Catholic 30-16 in the final quarter to earn a 68-61 victory.  The score was tied nine times and there were 12 lead changes in the game.  Tates Creek shot 45.7%from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on 19 of 26 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 46% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 13 Tates Creek turnovers.

Oney Harrison led Tates Creek with 28 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists.  Harrison was eight of 12 from the field including three of five from the three point line, and nine of 12 free throws.  Katie Pippen added 20 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Dominique Etling-Turner recorded 16 points, three assists, and three steals.  Lexi Whaley dished out six assists.

Octavia Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 28 points including three three point baskets and five assists.  5-9 So. Caroline Lynch added 13 points.  Rachel Blake recorded eight points and seven rebounds.

Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-8 Sr. Nick Trisko, 6-4 Sr. Aaron Evans, 6-9 Jr. Jackson Davis, 6-2 Jr. Lance Blakely, and 6-3 Sr. Tranard Chester.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-5 Sr. Eric Trigg, 6-5 Sr. E.J. Floreal, 6-7 Sr. Taylor King, 5-10 Sr. Mike Smith, and 6-2 Sr. William Gary.

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Lafayette tonight by a score of 77-61 in an impressive victory at home.  Dunbar shot 50.8% from the field including one of five from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 41.7% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 18 of 28 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored eight points off seven Dunbar turnovers.  Charles Sweat-Washington and Tranard Chester fouled out for Lafayette while Jackson Davis’ minutes were limited due to foul woes.  Taylor King fouled out for Dunbar.

E.J. Floreal led Dunbar with 24 points and nine rebounds.  Floreal was 11 of 13 from the field and two of two from the free throw line.  Mike Smith added 18 points.  Eric Trigg recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. 

Lance Blakely led Lafayette with 14 points.  6-6 Sr. Charles Sweat-Washington added 12 points and six rebounds.  Jackson Davis recorded 11 points and seven rebounds.  Tranard Chester and 5-9 Jr. Dequise Robinson scored 10 points each and Nick Trisko pulled down nine rebounds.
