Pendleton County coach Chad Simms started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Ethan Moore, 6-1 Sr. Gabe Antrobus, 6-4 Sr. Jared Rering, 5-10 Jr. Garrett Appleman, and 5-10 Jr. Mason Monroe. Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-6 Sr. Patrick Keller, 6-5 Sr. Craig Floyd, 6-9 Jr. Jack Whitman, 5-10 Jr. Dillon Avare, and 5-10 Sr. Bryan Woomer.
Lexington Catholic pulled away in the third quarter to defeat Pendleton County by a score of 75-58. Lexington Catholic shot 44.1% from the field including nine of 32 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Pendleton County turnovers. Pendleton County shot 39.6% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored four points off seven Lexington Catholic turnovers.
Craig Floyd led Lexington Catholic with 25 points including four three point baskets. Jack Whitman added 22 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots. Dillon Avare chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets. Bryan Woomer recorded six points, six assists, and five steals.
Mason Monroe led Pendleton County with 21 points including three three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds. Gabe Antrobus added 20 points including four three point baskets.
