Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 6-0 So. Sarah Cooley, 5-11 Fr. Dee Givens, 6-3 Fr. Ashanti Thomas, 5-7 Sr. Aleisha Stiltner, and 5-6 So. Ken’yale Demus.  Woodford County coach Jay Lucas countered with 5-11 Sr. Catie Fletcher, 5-11 Jr. Hannah Morgan, 6-1 Jr. Jessica Morgan, 5-5 So. Shelby McDonald, and 5-9 Fr. Chelsey Ford.

Woodford County shot 60.9% from the field in the first half to lead 38-20 on their way to a 65-41 victory over Lafayette.  Woodford County shot 47.1% from the field including seven of 18 from the three point line.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 31.3% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 11 points off five Woodford County turnovers.

Catie Fletcher led Woodford County with 17 points including three three point baskets.  Chelsey Ford added 14 points.  Jessica Morgan added 11 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Hannah Morgan chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds.

Sarah Cooley led Lafayette with 14 points and six rebounds.  Ken’yale Demus added 12 points including two three point baskets and pulled down five rebounds.  Ashanti Thomas chipped in with six points and seven rebounds.

Woodford County  18  20  15  12 – 65
