Hi, I've got the Sonic 3 & Knuckles game on PC. I've completed the game about a hundred times. It is very easy except for act two in Marble Garden when you fight the boss using Tails. That part is very tricky as you are constantly flying and you can only hit Robotnik with your propelling tail. My latest record is completing the entire game in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Yes, that's right, non-stop. Wow, you can say I got a really mighty headache after that!

Cheat for going to any level.
Go to the any three swinging vines in Angel Island, hang on it and press left left left, right right right, up up up.

You would then hear a sound which is just like the sound of collecting a ring. After doing this, restart the game ( press alt+r don't press alt+F2 ), and then go to sound test at the beginning tittle by pressing up. Press enter and enjoy .
Cheat for getting high scores. I just got this one. Go to Launch Base zone and at the first siren, keep doing a spin dash and stay there. The eagle should come towards you and you should be whacking them. First, you would increase by 100 points for every bird hit. Then, after a while, it would be 1000 points. Later, it would become 10 000 points for every bird hit!!! However, it won't go up any further.
