After completing act 2 of Icecap, you would arrive here!
Then, you would move through the huge chunk of snow and............
Presto! You arrive at Launch Base.
Launch Base is the final zone for Sonic 3. However, in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, the game is only in the centre. You still have a long way to go! Launch Base is a place where the badniks get high tech. As you can see, there is a badnik which is black in colour. It is protected by four spike balls. Also, another thing, these badniks only move when you move. Also, the only way to whack them is to use the rotating cyclone attack ( for Sonic only, press spin ball twice ) or when you have the star-invinciblity shield. Other badniks include a snail that fires to fire balls at one go, a frog with boxing gloves and an eagle! The eagles only come out when you hit the sirens that lie around. However, in some areas, the eagles come out all the same. The only difference between act 1 and act 2 is that act 1 is dry while act 2 is wet.
Let's see, hmmmm. Although Launch Base is the hardest stage from all the others in Sonic 3, I think you would not have any tips for this stage. SORRY!
