Knuckles will now push the level and down you go. Hello Hydrocity.
Sonic and Tails will then fall into Hydrocity. (When you are Knuckles, you would just jump into Hydrocity. Crazy huh?)
Now, take a deep breath, then dive. Hydrocity is filled with sea creatures. As you can see right above, there is a puffer fish armed with spikes. You can only whack it when it 'unpuffs' and brings its spikes in. There are many other badniks like the turtle ( I think ) which shoots bullets through its head, the lobster which fires ONE rocket launcher, sea sharks and the vicious pirana! One thing, when attack by the pirana, you can't move or spin ball. So be careful.
Act 2 of Hydrocity could be really fun sliding down all the slides but there's one problem. The starting. Either dash or get yourself smashed! At the starting, there will be a wall that keeps advancing towards you, ready to crush you when you're not fast enough to get out of the tight spot. However, stay calm all the time. Even if the wall is getting nearer. You'll soon find out that it is actually just a piece of cake!
The terrible scene starts here (don't bother about the five in the middle, I was just in the water for too long and the count down was taking place. Still, don't be alarmed if this happens to you, you could never drown as there are lots of air one spin ball away......................)
Now, act real fast, but don't get hasty. Spin dash is the key. At every arch, spin dash.
Don't be nervous if the wall is getting closer. Just keep moving. Remember, stay cool, relax, even if you die, you could still try again.

There, you have made it. (This is not the same as the top one, it may look alike but they are at different points. This is the 'finishing line' but the top one is still in the middle.)
Another tip. When bitten by the pirana, just tap right, left, right, left, right, left, etc. repeatedly. The pirana would soon get off your back.
