Sometimes, one requires someone else to do something for you, whether it be simply ordering a taxi or having a room to stay the night, or something more exotic or extreme. This following list gives details of services avaliable of a variety of planets and their costs:
Transportation:
Bus Services: Depending of distances, bus tickets cost around 1-3 credits. Alternatively, day passes can be purchased for around 6 credits, week passes for around 25 credits and four weekly passes for around 60 credits.
Taxi Services: Taxi's cost more than buses but get you there much quicker and direct. A typical cost varies according to time of day and distance travelled, but most inner city journeys will cost between 3-15 credits.
Vacuum Tubes: Special underground train services that travel frictionless through tunnels that are in complete vacuum span the globes of many majorly colonised worlds. The cost of travelling on these services varies between 10-50 credits depending on distance covered. Passes cost around 100 credits for a week, 250 for four weeks. Note that some space stations use a smaller version of the vacuum tubes as transportation around the station. These generally cost about the same as Bus Services.
Shuttles: Shuttles to other planets and stations in the same solar systems typically cost around 50-100 credits per trip if it's out of a planetary orbits, but only 15-25 credits for a trip from a planets surface to something in orbit. Passes are available if required.
Out of system transport: To book a journey on a ship to another star system varies immensely depending on the type of ship travelled upon and distance to be travelled. If you don't mind roughing it, the cost can be as little as 50 credits on some rickety old thing. If you want state of art luxury and creature comforts, then you can be looking at costs from 1000 credits upwards.
Residential Services:
Hotel / B&B: This varies depending on what planet you are staying on and how much luxury you want to stay in. Can cost anywhere from 15 credits a night for a simple run down B&B upto 500 credits a night or more for a top notch five star hotel.
Health Visit: For a visit to a Health farm to have a quick make over (hair cut, nails trimmed, teeth polished, massage, aromatherapy etc...) generally costs around 30 credits a day. Note that Health farms are viewed in C69 as equally beneficial for men as well as women and they cater for all varieties of races.
Courier Service: To have a parcel delivered to someone varies according to size of the package and how far it is to be sent. A small parcel to be sent to another address in the same city for example would cost about 3-5 credits while a larger parcel that is to be sent to an address in another star system could cost in excess of 100-150 credits for example.
Services of less repute:
In the underworlds of the C69 universe, one can find an assortment of people able to perform any vairety of services. Some of these are completely illegal, others not so but just of less repute.
Bounty: If you want to place an independant bounty of someones head, then it willset you back some. Typical starting cost starts from 250 credits (for which you will get a newbie in need of some cash) right up to, well however much you want, it really depends on how good a person you want for the job and how badly you want the target dead. The highest recorded bounty in history was 5'000'000'000'000'000 credits for a dangerous war criminal so it shows that only your wallet is the limit.
Access to the Rat Markets: If you haven't got any relations with the Tunnel Rats, then you can usually hire a Tunnel Rat guide who will take you to the famous Rat Markets for the cost of around 15-50 credits depending on the rat market and the guide. The more expensive ones will tell you the best places to buy and where to avoid (and probably taking a cut from some of the stalls he takes you to) while a cheaper guide is more likely to be some kid looking for some extra pocket money.
Tunnel Rat Smuggling fees: Sometimes it is easiest to have the Tunnel Rats deal with anything you need moving from a ship then do it yourself. They have the most secure way of moving stuff without the authorities noticing. However, such a service comes at a cost depending on what needs moving, how much needs moving and how tough the security forces on the planet. A small package on a lightly patrolled world would set you back no more than 20 credits while a whole cargo hold full of the most illegal drug on a well patrolled world could cost thousands.
Hacking / Jacking: You can get people to hack and jack on the local information networks should you require. The cost depends on what you want doing and who you ask to do it.
Nightrunner courier: Need something moved quickly with no questions asked, maybe into dangerous terriotries, then the Nightrunners are you first stop. Unlike courier services which scan any package they are given, Nightrunners don't care what it is they are carrying and can get it to places in times that are quicker than a bolt of lightning. Typically, this service costs anywhere from 20 to 100 credits depending on what needs moving, the danger involved and how quickly.
Prosititution: On some worlds, prostitution is legal, but on most it isn't and has to be sought after back street. How much it costs depends on what you are after and off what sort of quality you want. Prices start from 20 credits for something simple upto several hundred credits for someone to spend the entire night doing what you want. One can find all sorts of tastes catered for on various worlds, whether you be doing it with aliens or have a particular fetish fantasy to fulfill.
Other Services
There are off course plenty of other services available. What ever you can imagine is going to catered for somewhere in the C69 galaxy, it's just a matter of finding it and having the cash for it.
