 | Riverwind the Plainsman comes from the Que-Shu plains of Ansalon. He is a strong stoic man, willing to do anything for his love, Goldmoon. Before he was allowed to win her he was send on a mission by the chief, Goldmoon's father, to find an artifact of the Gods of the Cataclysm. This task was not meant to be simple -- Chief did not want Riverwind to marry his daughter -- but Riverwind's love was so strong he set out. In Xak Tsaroth he found it -- the blue crystal staff of Mishakal. He faced death by dragons, draconians,and all sorts of evil creatures but he returned the staff to the Cheif for Goldmoon's hand. The cheif was not happy, however, and still forbid the marriage so the two left and met Sturm in a storm. Sturm then introduced them to the rest of the Heros and their mission began. He never trusted any of the Heros fully and did anything to keep harm from Goldmoon. After they freed the slaves they were wed. |
