Due South
Due South is an hour-long comedy-drama about a straight-arrow Canadian Mountie and his deaf, lip-reading wolf, who come down to work in Chicago. They become friends and partners with a street-smart Chicago cop.
Due South originated
as a made-for-TV movie. After a good turnout, it was made into a regular
series. It was canceled after the first season, but due to a massive
letter-writing campaign by fans, it returned as a mid-season replacement.
Just as DueSers everywhere breathed a sigh of relief, it was canceled again
at the end of that second season. This time, though, the international
market stepped in, and a third season was produced. Due South has
aired its final episode in the United States, but is still being shown
in Canada and many other countries, and being rerun in the U.S. Go to the
Official
Due South page to find out when it is aired in your area.
RCW 139
The fourth annual Due South fan gathering, entitled RCW 139: Ride Forever, was from August 5 - 8, 1999, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where the series is filmed. A big huge "Thank You Kindly!!" to all the great people who made this possible. A fun time was had by all. :-) Check out the RCW 139 page for more details.
