Hello all,

I wanted to recommend the City Grinder shop that is in the Ravi gas station at the corner of Sherman and Farmington.  Jay is the owner of the City Grinder.  He and I have become friends over the last few weeks.  The food is excellent.  Not only does he have grinders, but he has a rice dish that is very good.  If you have gotten food at Tangiers (at Farmington and Prospect), it is very similar except it is cheaper...and just as tasty.

Tell him that his buddy, Mark the Tree Guy, sent you.

In addition, Jay has spent money from his business (he just rents the space in the Ravi station) to add some little flowers and landscaping to the station.  He also has been watering the new trees.  So, in addition, to providing a delicious product, he is being a good neighbor!

Help our local business!  Check out City Grinder.

See you on the block,
Mark

If you're looking for an arborist, call Bruce Graver at 860-563-6581 or check out   http://www.graverstreecare.com/

I have used Bruce twice so far.  I highly recommend him.  He was efficient, showed up quickly, and cleaned up nicely.  Plus, I've gotten quotes every time and he is always on the low end.  Two thumbs up from me.

Best price on Levolor mini-blinds that are custom sized.  They give an estimated price based on your measurement, Jerry Reed comes out and measures to order, and returns to install.  Best price, on time, great guy.
