Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow first single 'Run, baby, run' and her second single 'Leaving Las Vegas' was not that successful like the third single 'All I wanna do' from her debut album 'Tuesday night music club'. With the third single Sheryl really made a big breakthrough and she had a string of hits and Grammies. My favourite song on her first album is 'Strong enough' and all the five first songs on the 'Tuesday music club' are really great songs. The slow songs on the album like 'No one said it would be easy' and 'I shall believe' are great songs to. The song that I like the least on the album is 'All I wanna do' not that it is bad at all. It is just that it has been over played.

Her second on album is a real super album. It took me sometime to realise how good it is. I think that the fist single 'If it makes you happy' and it's video put me off. I don't like the video that much at all. It was around the single release of 'A change' that I started to listen to the album and realised that it was a super album. After this I listen to nearly every week and many of my favourite songs by Sheryl are on this album.

Her third album has its ups and downs. The first song on the album 'My favourite mistake' is one of her best song so far. In some of the songs sounds very close to harder rock than she has done before. Still most of the songs are great songs that really fit in her style of music. I think it's great the she keeps develop her sounds and makes it more exciting to listen to her music.

Her albums so far

  • Tuesday night music club (1993) ****

  • Sheryl Crow (1996) *****

  • The Globe sessions (1998) ****
