Occasionally I go to the Wall just to remember those with whom I worked for many years. It is sad, but at the same time, an emotionally rewarding journey. Just to read down the names prompts, at the same time, a warm feeling in my heart, as well as a deep sadness to think that for many years we were all family and now so many are gone. Then a wonderful thing happens. I read a name and I do REMEMBER, incidents, events, foibles, that inspired, sometimes saddened and yes, amused us enormously. "Remember when" races through my memory. With these memories, my sadness turns to joy and the frown becomes a smile and then a laugh. It is good.
