Sal Frisina died on December 10, 1987 from lung cancer. He was 40 years old. He never had to chance to see his children grow-up, or to meet his grandchildren, but I think he somehow knows that we love him even more today. I loved him from the moment I met him and I will love him til the day that I die. There are many times when I think back to the day of his Memorial Service and when I saw the hundreds of people there to say good-bye, I realized that there was a part of his life that I wasn’t aware of, ... his Middle Country School District Family. They loved Sal too. He was a husband, father, son, brother-in-law but most of all, a good friend. He will always be missed.
