Homer and Marge are forced to take the kids along on their anniversary dinner. The diner turns out to be completely unromantic. At the end of the night, the two are disinterested in "getting intimate." Later, when they go off to purchase a new refrigerator motor, their car gets stuck in the mud during a rainstorm, and they race into a barn for shelter. After the owner of the farm nearly discovers them, the two find themselves excited and amorous. While they’re away, Grampa gives Lisa and Bart his old metal detector, and they go in search of hidden treasure. Homer and Marge decide to spend a weekend at a bed and breakfast. Once there, they find themselves again romantically uninspired. When a maid discovers them lying on the bed, they realize that the fear of getting caught makes them frisky. Using the metal detector near the Aztec Theater, Bart and Lisa find an old film can containing an alternate ending to Casablanca. They watch it with Grampa at the Retirement Castle. A resident who was one of the studio executives who ordered the ending gives Bart and Lisa twenty dollars to bury it again. While Homer and Marge are getting intimate in the windmill at the local mini-golf course, the golfers start to realize that something is inside. A completely naked Homer and Marge narrowly escape a gathering crowd and make their way into town looking for clothes. They steal a hot air balloon from a used car lot and wind up landing on a football field, only to be ogled by a stadium full of people. |
