Homer takes Marge out to the Police Seized-Property Auction for a fun-filled Saturday. There, Homer buys a souped-up sports car. When he takes Marge out for a dangerous ride, she has Homer pull over and drop her off. Walking around the neighborhood, Marge runs into Lionel Hutz, who now works as a Realtor for Red Blazer Realty. Interested in getting involved in real estate, Marge studies for the Real Estate Law test. With a little help from Bart and Lisa, she passes the exam. Marge is made an employee of Red Balzer Realty. She soon learns that her honest, ernest approach doesn't work for selling homes. She also learns that if she doesn't sell a house her first week, she'll be fired. Marge shows Maude and Ned Flanders a house in which some grisly murders occured several years ago. When they offer to buy it, she fails to tell them the houses history. After the Flanders spend a night in the house, Marge comes clean. Amazingly the Flanderses are thrilled with their new home's rich history. Their excitement is short-lived, however. Homer crashes his car through the house while fighting Snake, the original owner of the vehicle. The house collapses and Marge is fired. But all is not lost: The family is thrilled that Marge now qualifies for unemployment benefits. |
