Let's Go Mets! APRIL 21 - HOME GAME #8 vs Atlanta Braves (8-4)

Jon Niese (1-0) faces the Braves Trevor Cahill (0-1) as the Mets try to keep their eight game winning streak alive. Catcher Kevin Plawecki makes his first MLB start, replacing injured Travis d'Arnaud.

Lets Go Mets! Curtis Granderson snapped a slump with three hits and a 4 RBI evening. In his debut Kevin Plawecki singled twice and scored twice. Before the game I was able to speak briefly and shake the hand of Mets third base coach Tim Tuffel. We met at the Met's Fantasy Camp in January. He said the Mets need to have a winning record each month and they are in the playoffs. Tim tosses bubble gum to the fans while walking out to the third base coach's box.
