Game one of Skid's season at Citi. JUNE 11th - GAME #65 vs Milwaukee Brewers (38-26)
Rookie Jacob deGroom (0-2) looks for his first win against Wily Peralta (5-5). Jacob deGrom is the first pitcher in Mets history to pitch five or more innings with five or fewer hits in each of his first five big league games. Jacob is also just the second pitcher in franchise history to pitch at least five innings in each of his first five MLB games, and not get a win. The Mets sent lefthander Scott Rice down to AAA Las Vegas and activated Gonzalez German off the disabled list.

29-37

Yet another decent pitching performance wasted by a lack of offense. Curtis Granderson got two hits to extend his on base streak to 23 games. Duda got a sacrifice fly to drive in the only Mets run. There's your offensive highlights. Better luck tomorrow.

I came straight home from work (I usually stop briefly at my mom's most days) and caught the game in the second inning. I bought some baseball cards on ebay, updated yesterday's game, checked facebook, kinda sorta watched the game. It's getting harder and harder to sit through the mess that is the Mets. Sandy Alderson, please shake this team up!

METS have lost 7 of their last 8 games.
