Foreign Language Department Rule
Do not EVER use translation sites, services, or software for assignments (including grammar checks in French)-- you will receive a ZERO on the assignment. If I suspect translation or grammar help was used, I will verify this by asking you about words or phrases in your assignment. If you can not quickly explain them, even with the help of your notebook and textbook, you will receive a ZERO on the assignment.
WEBSITE ASSIGNMENTS DURING CLASS: Unless directed by me, you should NEVER be on the English version of a website we are using in French during class. If caught even momentarily visiting the English version, you will lose 50% of the points for the assignment on the first offense, and 100% of the points on a second offense.
