Quests
Being an RPG, Fallout 2 is primarily composed of various tasks, or quests, one must accomplish. Most quests need not be completed to beat the game. Depending on what quests you do the end movie will change accordingly; the more quests the longer the movie. It's very hard to do all of these since doing some prevents you from doing others. For the true Fallout experience you will have to play several times.
