Well, she's finally ours - officially. This morning we went back to the Civil Affairs Office to have a few interviews and pay a lot of money, and it is legal now, she's stuck with us.

She actually slept through the night, though she's a noisy little thing. As she is sleeping now, Steve decided she sounds just like our dishwasher. She's been a bit fussy when eating, and so it was confirmed today when talking with the Orphanage Director (she met with the three other girls whose babies came from Yang Chun to answer our questions) that the babies like to drink it down fast...

... So after feeding her mashed potatoes for lunch and slitting holes in the bottle nipples, she was one happy little clam.

We found out at dinner tonight that we were charged for our napkins, after we had to ask for them. That's a new one!

We are going to a French Wal-Mart tomorrow, go figure in China, so I guess we'll be stocking up to bring our own napkins from now on!
