UT Martin outscored Eastern Kentucky University 24-3 in the second quarter on their way to a 65-50 victory.  UT Martin shot 37.7% from the field including five of 21 from the three point line.  The Skyhawks connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 20 Eastern Kentucky University turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 36.2% from the field including four of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 UT Martin turnovers.

 

Chelsey Perry led UT Martin with 15 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, three blocked shots, and three assists.  Dasia Young added 12 points including two three point baskets and four rebounds.  Maddie Waldrop recorded nine points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  5-6 Jr. Tamiah Stanford chipped in with eight points and 5-10 So. Brittni Moore added seven points.  Kyannah Grant recorded four points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

 

5-11 Jr. Bria Bass led Eastern Kentucky University with 11 points and four rebounds.  6-0 Sr. Catie Kaifes added nine points on three three point baskets and three steals.  Qay Stanton recorded eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Samari Mowbray chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.  I’Liyah Green added six points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Terri Goodlett recorded four points, five rebounds, and seven assists.

Tennessee Tech University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by a score of 87-82 in two overtimes.  The score was tied 12 ties and there were 11 lead changes in the game.  Tennessee Tech shot 44.3% from the field including 10 of 29 from the three point line.  The Golden Eagles connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Eastern Kentucky University turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 48.6% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Tennessee Tech turnovers.

 

Akia Harris led Tennessee Tech University with 19 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Kesha Brady added 18 points including seven of 10 free throws, six rebounds, and three assists.  Jordan Brock recorded 17 points including four three point baskets.  Mackenzie Coleman added 16 points and seven rebounds.

Eastern Kentucky University led by 11 in the second quarter but had to withstand a rally by the Cougars to earn a 49-46 victory over SIU Edwardsville.  SIUE was hampered by the loss of leading scorer on the season Allie Troeckler with an ankle injury after only 14 minutes of playing time.  EKU shot 33.3% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored five points off 18 SIUE turnovers.  SIUE shot 26.2% from the field including four of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Cougars connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 20 EKU turnovers.

 

Teri Goodlett led Eastern Kentucky University with 13 points, three rebounds, and two assists.  I’Liyah Green added 12 points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.  5-7 Jr. De’ayra Davis recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, and two steals.  Bria Bass chipped in with six points, eight rebounds, and two assists.

Eastern Kentucky University coach Samantha Williams started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Bria Bass, 5-8 Sr. Shay Solomon, 6-2 Jt. I’Liyah Green, 5-6 Jr. Teri Goodlett, and 5-7 Jr. De’Ayra Davis.  IUPUI coach Austin Parkinson countered with 6-0 Jr. Katelyn O’ Reilly, 6-0 Fr. Natalie Andersen, 6-2 Jr. Macee Williams, 5-5Sr. Holly Hoopingarner, and 5-10 So. Rachel McLimore.

 

IUPUI defeated Eastern Kentucky University by the score of 72-42.  IUPUI shot 45.9% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line.  They connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 28.6% from the field including three of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored seven points off 14 IUPUI turnovers.

 

Macee Williams led IUPUI with 22 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists.  Holly Hoopingarner added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Rachel McLimore recorded 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists.  Katelyn O’Reilly chipped in with six points, seven rebounds, and two steals.

 

6-1 Jr. Samari Mowbray led Eastern Kentucky with 10 points.  6-0 Sr. Catie Kaifes added nine points nine points and two assists.  5-6 Jr. Qay Stanton recorded six points, six rebounds, and four assists.
