Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Spencer Baird, 5-11 Jr. Blake Smith, 6-8 So. Riley Bodner, 5-10 8^th Grade Jaxon Smith, and 5-10 Sr. Chase Phillips.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-1 Sr. Cameron King, 6-1 Sr. Devontae Hayes, 6-9 So. Ray Suratt, 5-10 Sr. Eric Powell, and 5-11 Sr. Fousseyni Diallo.

Lafayette pulled away in the second half to defeat Lincoln County 74-58.  There were three ties and 10 lead changes in the game.  Lafayette shot 47.4% from the field including 10 of 29 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 21 Lincoln County turnovers.  Lincoln County shot 51.1% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Lafayette turnovers.

Ray Suratt led Lafayette with 19 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Eric Powell added 13 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and six steals.  Cameron King recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and five assists.  Fousseyni Diallo added 10 points, two assists, and two steals.

Lexington Christian Academy defeated Harrison County by a score of 71-51.  LCA shot 53.4% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 10 points off seven Harrison County turnovers.  Harrison County shot 36.4% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Thorobreds connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 LCA turnovers.

Kyle Rode led LCA with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.  Austin Hall added 20 points, 15 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Carter Hendrickson recorded 10 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two blocked shots.  Pearce Dalton chipped in with nine points and three steals.

Henry Clay raced out to a 27-12 first quarter lead on their way to a 93-75 victory over Frederick Douglass.  Henry Clay shot 52.7% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 30 of 45 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 Frederick Douglass turnovers.  Frederick Douglass shot 42.4% from the field including six of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Broncos connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.

Jalen Williams led Henry Clay with 24 points and eight rebounds.  Keaston Brown added 18 points including two three point baskets and eight of eight free throws.  Marquez Warrick recorded 15 points.  Harris Hawkins added 13 points including six of seven free throws.  Andreus Green chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Ramond Jackson recorded eight points, five rebounds, and four assists.

Bryan Station defeated Boyle County by a score of 70-53.  Bryan Station shot 55.8% from the field including six of 22 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on six of 15 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Boyle County turnovers.  Boyle County shot 35.6% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Rebels connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Bryan Station turnovers. 

6-3 Sr. Eric Boone led Bryan Station with 17 points, five rebounds, five assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Terrence Clayton-Murphy added 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Jalen Burbage recorded 11 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.  5-11 So. Scott County scored 39 points off 23 Cordia turnovers in a 91-66 victory over the Lions.  The score was tied 35-35 at halftime but Scott County outscored Cordia 56-31 in the second half.  Scott County shot 50.7% from the field including 10 of 30 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and held a 22-2 advantage in bench scoring.  Cordia shot 43.2% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lions connected on 23 of 27 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

Franklin-Simpson 42  Collins 38 – Tre Bass ran for 127 yards and a touchdown to lead the victors.  JR Lucas completed 26 of 41 passes for 444 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another touchdown to lead Collins.

Johnson Central 43  Wayne County 24 – Blake Gamble carried the ball 19 times for 103 yards and three touchdowns.

Class 5A Playoffs

Covington Catholic 43  South Warren 7 – AJ Mayer completed 18 of 27 passes for 339 yards and four touchdowns.

Madison Southern 27  Harlan County 20 – Carter Smith carried the ball 20 times for 151 yards and three touchdowns.

Class 6A Playoffs

St. Xavier 48  Scott County 35 – Anthony Moretti carried the ball 15 times for 179 yards and two touchdowns.  Jack Albers completed 11 of 18 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns and carried the ball 10 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns.
