Lexington Christian Academy defeated Leslie County by a score of 48-0.  Lexington Christian Academy recorded 29 first downs and 451 yards of total offense.  The Eagles were penalized six times for 65 yards and lost a fumble.  Leslie County recorded five first downs and 99 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 25 yards, lost two fumbles, and had three passes intercepted.

Dillon Wheatley led LCA’s ground game with 198 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries.  Logan Nieves carried the ball nine times for 55 yards.  Josh McClurg completed five of nine passes for 57 yards and two touchdowns.  Logan Nieves completed four of seven passes for 62 yards.  Drayden Burton caught three passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.  Caelen Lebryk added two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown.  Caelen Lebryk returned one punt for 18 yards.  Blane Hardin led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles including three tackles for losses.  Jed Green added three solo and six assisted tackles including four tackles for losses.  Jonathan Kaufmann and Caelen Lebryk each intercepted a pass.

Luke Lewis led Leslie County’s ground game with 20 yards on 11 carries.  Luke Lewis completed three of nine passes for 57 yards with one interception.  Dylan Adams caught two passes for 58 yards.  Taten Smith returned two kickoffs for 27 yards.  Nick Hoskins returned two kickoffs for 20 yards.  Preston Spurlock led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Cullen Pennington added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Nick Hoskins recorded four solo and five assisted tackles.

Lafayette held a 12-7 lead at halftime but Douglass scored 21 unanswered points in the third quarter to earn a 28-12 victory.  Frederick Douglass recorded 16 first downs and 238 yards of total offense.  The Broncos were penalized nine times for 115 yards and lost a fumble.  Lafayette recorded nine first downs and 177 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized 10 times for 143 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Jefferson Harkless  led Douglass’ ground game with 134 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Dekel Crowdus carried the ball 11 times for 79 yards and three touchdowns.  Montaveon Bean completed three of seven passes for 28 yards.  Dekel Crowdus completed two of three passes for 15 yards.  Nate Gay caught two passes for 30 yards.  Jaylin Bybee recorded two kickoffs for 43 yards with a long return of 22 yards.  Zee Overton led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles.  Devin Neal added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Romel Croley also recorded three solo and two assisted tackles.  Obi Taylor added three solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Gabe Hillyard recovered a fumble and Xavier Fogle added two solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards and recovered a fumble.  Jaylin Bybee and D. Christopher each intercepted a pass.

Cameron Morgan led Lafayette’s ground game with 74 yards on 17 carries.  Kuantaze Cooper carried the ball three times for 20 yards.  Drake Nelson completed 11 of 24 passes for 95 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.  TeAndre Newcomb caught seven passes for 54 yards. M. Guilfoil added three receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown.  Teandre Newcomb  returned two punts for 46 yards with a long return of 41 yards.  Kuantaze Cooper returned one punt for 65 yards.  Kyle Browning led the defense with 10 solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 18 yards.  Ean Shaw added five solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss and recovered a fumble he returned 35 yards for a touchdown,. Kuantaze Cooper recorded four solo and four assisted tackles.

Anderson County got two big plays that proved to be the difference in a 14-7 victory over Fern Creek.  The first came in the first quarter when Blake Franklin returned a blocked field goal attempt 76 yards for a touchdown and the second came in the third quarter when the deciding touchdown was scored on a 77 yard run by Zach Labhart.  Anderson County recorded 10 first downs and 223 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized nine times for 53 yards and had a pass intercepted.  Fern Creek recorded 18 first downs and 317 yards of total offense.  The Tigers were penalized eight times for 124 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Zach Labhart led Anderson County’s ground game with 121 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Blake Franklin carried the ball 14 times for 71 yards.  Jagger Gillis completed three of six passes for 39 yards with one interception.  Blake Franklin caught two passes for 35 yards.  Colton Cornish led the defense with 14 solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards.  D. Dearinger added six solo tackles and recovered a fumble.  Zach Labhart also recorded six solo tackles.  Tyler Peters added six solo tackles and intercepted a pass.

Anthony Teague led Fern Creek’s ground game with 110 yards on 19 carries.  Isaiah Hester carried the ball 12 times for 56 yards.  Isaiah Hester completed two of nine passes for 69 yards with one interception.  Rayshawn Nelson completed two of three passes for 34 yards.  Damon Durrah caught two passes for 44 yards.  Greg Moundine added one reception for 38 yards.  Osman Sall led the defense with seven solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss.  B. Oberhausen added five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 16 yards.  M. Quiggins, Armon Wells, and Atorion Cook each recorded four solo tackles and Cook intercepted a pass.

The score was tied 7-7 after three quarters but Henry Clay scored 13 unanswered points in the final quarter to earn a 20-7 victory over Madison Central.  Turnovers were a big factor in this game as Madison Central lost two fumble and had two passes intercepted with the final interception being returned 80 yards for a touchdown by Langston Jackson to provide the insurance points.  Henry Clay recorded 16 first downs and 296 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized six times for 30 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.  Madison Central recorded 17 first downs and 276 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized once for five yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Tyree Clarke led Henry Clay’s ground game with 108 yards on 21 carries.  Langston Jackson carried the ball five times for 34 yards and a touchdown.  Darrin Van Horn added 33 yards on four carries.  Darrin Van Horn completed six of 18 passes for 121 yards with one interception.  Ramond Jackson caught two passes for 60 yards.  Zac Berezewitz added two receptions for 17 yards.  Dakota Kimes led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards.  Ramond Jackson added six solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss and recovered a fumble.  John Felty recorded four solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Charlie Davis added three solo and five assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Langston Jackson recorded three solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 80 yards for a touchdown.

Freddie Chenault led Madison Central’s ground game with 112 yards on 20 carries.  Ethan Hahn carried the ball four times for 60 yards.  Gavin Hulberg added 31 yards on 12 carries.  Dalton Combs completed two of six passes for 47 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Derrick Miller completed two of five passes for 21 yards.  A. Warford caught three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.  Denton Witt led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles.  Daniel Baker added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Ben Snapp recorded three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and intercepted a pass.  Juliua Dray recovered a fumble.

Scott County’s Brice Fryman opened the game with an 84 yard kickoff return for a touchdown which propelled the Cardinals to a 36 point first quarter on their way to a 43-0 victory over George Rogers Clark.  Scott County recorded 10 first downs and 239 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 40 yards.  George Rogers Clark recorded 11 first downs and 221 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized six times for 38 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Payton Brown led Scott County’s ground game with 42 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Bryson Gibson carried the ball three times for 35 yards and a touchdown.  Josh Davis completed three of three passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.  Glenn Covington caught two passes for 44 yards.  Brice Fryman caught a 55 yard touchdown pass.  Glenn Covington scored on a 60 yard punt return.  Ryland Reed led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Bronson Brown added four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss.  Cooper Robb intercepted a pass.

Nitavius Thomas led GRC’s ground game with 107 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.  Pierce Nesbitt completed two of nine passes for 46 yards with one interception.  Dakota Puckett completed one of six passes for 18 yards and Jack Keeton completed his only pass for 16 yards.  Nick Willoughby caught two passes for 46 yards.  Jehdon Jenkins led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles.  Nitavius Thomas added two solo and one assisted tackles.

Tates Creek improved to 9-2 for the year with a 53-14 victory over Bryan Station.  Tates Creek recorded 22 first downs and 534 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized six times for 47 yards and lost a fumble.  Bryan Station recorded 15 first downs and 270 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized eight times for 51 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Laron Warner led Tates Creek’s ground game with 144 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.  Teonte White carried the ball 12 times for 110 yards and two touchdowns.  Cameron Workman completed six of 12 passes for 214 yards and one touchdown.  DeVonta Clay caught two passes for 100 yards.  Marcus Bosley added one reception for 66 yards.  Mikaleb Coffey added two receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown.  Cam Stewart led the defense with five solo and four assisted tackles.  Marcus Bosley added six solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling four yards.  Jaden Baird recorded six solo tackles.  Elliott Bryant intercepted a pass and Jacob Eaves recovered a fumble.

Jalen Burbage led Bryan Station’s ground game with 90 yards on 12 carries.  Promesse Kenguuk carried the ball three times for 53 yards.  Chris Jones recorded 52 yards on 17 carries.  Jalen Burbage completed 11 of 22 passes for 85 yards and one touchdown with one interception.  Terrance Clayton-Murphy caught five passes for 27yards and a touchdown.  Kendrick Curry added three receptions for 19 yards.  DonDRE Fish caught two passes for 20 yards.  Kendrick Curry returned three touchdowns for 127 yards with a touchdown return of 94 yards.  William Mitchell led the defense with six solo and two assisted tackles.  Brandon Fields and Antony Cox each recorded two solo and three assisted tackles.  DonDRE Fish recovered a fumble.

Lexington Catholic defeated Bath County 49-39 despite only running 33 offensive plays and 10:38 of clock time compared to Bath County’s 86 plays and 37:22 of clock time.  Lexington Catholic recorded 16 first downs and 403 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized seven times for 72 yards.  Bath County recorded 33 first downs and 517 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 35 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Dameon Jones led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 248 yards and six touchdowns on 23 carries.  Beau Allen completed five of eight passes for 155 yards and a touchdown.  Trenton Neuer caught two passes for 57 yards.  Nathan Schnurr added two receptions for 24 yards.  Tommy Knopp caught a 74 yard touchdown pass.  Brennan Emmett led the defense with eight solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Cameron Coulter added 10 solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Brock Hudgens recorded four solo and 10 assisted tackles.  Clay Callahan added seven solo and three assisted tackles.  Henry Holthaus recorded seven solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Jackson Smith added five solo and three assisted tackles.

Landan Swartz led Bath County’s ground game with 279 yards and three touchdowns on 40 carries.  Cameron Corbin carried the ball 26 times for 140 yards and a touchdown.  Ryan Leach completed three of five passes for 46 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Lane Rogers completed two of two passes for four yards and a touchdown.  Austin Reed caught three passes for 32 yards and two touchdowns.  Landan Swartz led the defense five solo and one assisted tackles.  James Fraley added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Thomas Oldfield recorded three solo and one assisted tackles.

Corbin averaged an eye popping 19.1 yards per offensive play (21 plays for 401 yards) in a 37-16 victory over B.M. Caudill.  Corbin recorded eight first downs and 401 yards of total offense.  They were penalized 11 times for 60 yards and had a pass intercepted.  B.M. Caudill recorded 14 first downs and 245 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 28 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Duane Sparks led Corbin’s ground game with 63 yards and a touchdown on three carries.  Cameron Combs carried the ball four times for 58 yards and two touchdowns.  David McFadden recorded 38 yards and five carries.  Cameron Combs completed four of five passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.  Jacob Baker caught two passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.  Dakota Patterson caught an 80 yard touchdown pass.  Parker Norvell added one catch for 45 yards.  Dakota Patterson led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss.  Sean Brummett added three solo and six assisted tackles.  Cameron Combs recorded one solo and seven assisted tackles.  Duane Sparks intercepted a pass.

Kenyatts Hardge led B.M. Caudill’s ground game with 64 yards on 18 carries.  Edmund Surles added 53 yards on one carry.  Brady Hensley carried the ball 13 times for 33 yards.  Eli Steele completed one of five passes for 14 yards and a touchdown.  Kenyatts Hardge completed one of two passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.  Brady Hensley caught two passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns.  Eli Steele led the defense with three solo tackles.  Dawson Sanchez, Jayden West, and Gerius Walker added two solo tackles each.  Jayden West intercepted a pass.
