Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-6 Fr. Michael Moreno, 6-5 Sr. Clem Damron, 6-4 Jr. Cooper Watts, 6-1 Fr. Bryce Long, and 6-1 So. Cooper Robb. Jessamine County coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Jr. Bradley Tullar, 6-3 Sr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Wells Ducas, 5-10 Jr. Isaiah Okesson, and 6-0 Sr. Camron Seater.
Scott County led 37-35 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for an 80-66 victory over West Jessamine. The score was tied three times and there were six lead changes in the game. Scott County shot 51.5% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 46.4% from the field including 11 of 18 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Scott County turnovers.
Michael Moreno led Scott County with 18 points and eight rebounds. Cooper Watts added 15 points and eight rebounds. Clem Damron recorded 14 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Bryce Long chipped in with 11 points.
Siah Holifield led West Jessamine with 18 points. Isaiah Okesson added 17 points including four three point baskets. Bradley Tullar recorded nine points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, and three steals.
