Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup:  6-6 Fr. Michael Moreno, 6-1 Fr. Bryce Long, 6-4 Jr. Cooper Watts, 6-1 So. Cooper Robb, and 6-1 Fr. Glenn Covington.  Corbin coach Steve Pietrowski countered with Chase Sanders, 6-0 Jr. Sam Taylor, Tanner Barnes, 5-11 Jr. Zach Maguet, and 6-0 So. Andrew Taylor.

 

Scott County trailed 34-29 at halftime but shot 73.9% from the field in the second half to rally for a 74-65 victory over Corbin.  Scott County shot 56.9% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Corbin turnovers.  Corbin shot 51.2% from the field including nine of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Redhounds connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

 

Michael Moreno led a balanced Scott County scoring attack with 19 points and 10 rebounds.  Bryce Long added 16 points including three three point baskets.  Cooper Watts recorded 15 points, eight rebounds, three blocked shots, and four steals.  Cooper Robb chipped in with 12 points.  6-5 Sr. Clem Damron also reached double figures with 10 points and pulled down six rebounds.

 

Andrew Taylor led Corbin with 26 points including five three point baskets and nine of 12 free throws, pulled down six rebounds, and dished out five assists.  Chase Sanders added 16 points including two three point baskets.  Zach Maguet recorded 12 points.

Boyle County defeated Scott County by a score of 91-69.  Boyle County shot 51% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Rebels connected on 35 of 49 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 20 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 30.1% from the field including six of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 19 of 32 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 17 Boyle County turnovers.

 

Emmie Harris led Boyle County with 25 points including 15 of 18 free throws and five rebounds.  Marlee Smith added 21 points including eight of 10 free throws and seven rebounds.  Gracie Edmiston recorded 14 points and eight rebounds.  Allison Hall chipped in with 12 points including three three point baskets.

 

Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 17 points including 11 of 12 free throws and six rebounds.  Bailey Hawkins added 15 points including four three point baskets.

Lafayette scored 43 points off 31 Grant County, recorded 22 steals and three blocked shots in a 96-54 victory over Grant County.  Lafayette shot 44.4% from the field including 12 of 27 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 24 of 32 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and held a 51-27 advantage in bench points.  Grant County shot 47.5% from the field including four of nine from beyond the arc.  The Braves connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Ross Jenkins led Lafayette with 15 points and nine rebounds.  5-10 Jr. Jajuante Carpenter also scored 13 points including three three point baskets and three steals.  Jaelin Jenkins added 10 points and six steals.  5-9 Jr. Chris Wharton and 5-10 So. Eric Powell chipped in with nine points each.
