Mercer County coach Josh Cook started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Will Hager, 6-3 Jr. Alijah Mink, 6-1 Sr. Deron Bartleson, 6-3 Jr. Drew Davis, and 6-4 Fr. Trevon Faulkner. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Sr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Jr. Siah Holifield, 6-4 Sr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Jr. Camron Seater, and 6-0 Sr. David McCorvey.
Mercer County defeated West Jessamine 54-51 in overtime. West Jessamine led 22-12 in the second quarter but Mercer County closed out the half on an 11-0 run to lead 23-22 at the half. Mercer County led 36-30 after three quarters but West Jessamine rallied in the final quarter and the score was tied 46-46 at the end of regulation. There were five lead changes and five ties in this game.
Mercer County shot 45% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line. The Titans connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 33.9% from the field including two of 17 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 24 Mercer County turnovers.
Trevon Faulkner led Mercer County with 16 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds. Will Hager added 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Drew Davis chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds. 6-5 Jr. Malik Dow recorded nine points and seven rebounds.
Siah Holifield led West Jessamine with 14 points and four rebounds. Dalton Crouse added 12 points and eight rebounds. David McCorvey recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

West Jessamine (51) – Ely 8, Holifield 14, Crouse 12, Seater 2, McCorvey 10, Okesson 5.
