Christian Academy of Louisville defeated Monroe County 14-6 to advance to the championship game.  CAL recorded six first downs and 190 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 45 yards and lost a fumble.  Monroe County recorded 15 first downs and 242 yards of total offense.  They were penalized four times for 20 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Cody Morton led Christian Academy of Louisville’s ground game with 86 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.  Tanner Lopez carried the ball 12 times for 37 yards.  Cody Morton completed two of four passes for 64 yards and a touchdown.  Cal Lewellyn caught a 55 yard touchdown pass.  Clay Davis led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling three yards.  Davis also intercepted a pass.  Jake Ballard added five solo and three assisted tackles.  Jake Paulson recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 20 yards.

Caleb Veach led Monroe County’s ground game with 59 yards on eight carries.  Jordan Phillips carried the ball 11 times for 49 yards.  Lincoln Arnett completed nine of 17 passes for 116 yards.  Caleb Veach caught five passes for 78 yards.  Jordan Phillips and Lincoln Keith led the defense with three solo and one assisted tackles each and Phillips recovered a fumble.  Kale Rich and Nathan Ware each recorded two solo and one assisted tackles and 1.5 of Ware’s tackles resulted in losses totalling 13 yards.

Martin County defeated Franklin simpson by a score of 42-16.  Martin County recorded 13 first downs and 367 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 25 yards and lost a fumble.  Franklin Simpson recorded eight first downs and 231 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 43 yards and lost a fumble.

Brandon Butcher had a great game on both offense and defense for the victors.  Butcher led the ground game with 193 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries.  Chase Muncy carried the ball four times for 107 yards and two touchdowns.  Bryce Workman completed his only pass for a 20 yard touchdown pass.  Brandon Butcher caught a 20 yard touchdown pass.  Brandon Butcher led the defense with 11 solo tackles.  Corbin Mann added six solo tackles.

Isaiah Hall led Franklin Simpson’s ground game with 105 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.  Evan Figert carried the ball 10 times for 55 yards and a touchdown.  Kane McMurtry added 50 yards on eight carries.  Evan Figert completed one of three passes for 15 yards.  Kane McMurtry caught one pass for 15 yards.  Evan Figert, Jackson Caudill, and Peyton Williams led the defense with three solo tackles each.

Meece scored on three long distance scoring strikes of over 80 yards in a 42-8 victory over Paintsville.  The offense scored on an 81 yard run, the defense scored on an 88 yard interception return, and special teams found the end zone with an 85 yard kickoff return.  Meece recorded seven first downs and 319 yards of total offense.  They were penalized four times for 36 yards.  Paintsville recorded nine first downs and 155 yards of total offense.  They were penalized twice for seven yards and had two passes intercepted.

Castle Hatcher led Meece’s ground game with 123 yards and two touchdowns on four carries.  Jordan Doan carried the ball five times for 65 yards and a touchdown.  Castle Hatcher completed five of five passes for 104 yards.  Cole Smith caught three passes for 58 yards.  Adam Waddle led the defense with five solo and four assisteed tackles and also intercepted a pass.  Jordan Doan added five solo and one assisted tackles.  Jared Farris had two solo tackles which resulted in losses totalling 15 yards.  Castle Hatcher scored on an 88 yard interception return.

Kent Phelps led Paintsville’s ground game with 78 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Matthew Miller completed one of nine passes for 13 yards with an interception.  Kent Phelps caught one pass for 13 yards.  Kent Phelps led the defense with five solo tackles.

Meece defeated Frankfort by a score of 37-14 behind a potent ground game that averaged 13.4 yards per carry on 24 rushing attempts.  Meece recorded 15 first downs and 393 yards of total offense.  They were penalized nine times for 59 yards.  Frankfort recorded seven first downs and 166 yards of total offense.  They were penalized six times for 43 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Castle Hatcher led Meece’s ground attack with 140 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries.  Jordan Doan carried the ball nine times for 138 yards and a touchdown.  Castle Hatcher completed one of 10 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.  Jared Farris caught a 72 yard touchdown pass.  Adam Waddle led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 14 yards.  S. Mitchell added four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss and recovered a fumble.

Landon Hurst led Frankfort’s ground game with 101 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.  Matthew Smith carried the ball seven times for 87 yards and a touchdown.  A. Robinson was zero of two on pass attempts with one interception.  DeShawn Newton led the defense with five solo tackles.  Calen Jones added three solo tackles.

Kent Phelps led the Paintsville ground game with 59 yards and a touchdown with 14 carries.  Luke Trimble carried the ball nine times for 44 yards.  Matthew Miller added 40 yards on 13 carries.  Matthew Miller completed one of six passes for 24 yards with one interception.  Andrew Rice caught one pass for 24 yards.  Kent Phelps led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Kash Daniel added three solo tackles and recovered a fumble.  Andrew Rice added three solo tackles including two tackles for losses totalling five yards and intercepted a pass.

J. Garner led Owensboro Catholic’s ground game with 48 yards and a touchdown on five carries.  Ray Zuberer completed four of 11 passes for 59 yards with three interceptions.  VaSaad Greer caught one pass for 25 yards.  Ray Zuberer led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.  Mason Robertson added five solo and two assisted tackles.

Floyd Fannin led Southern Pulaski’s ground game with 133 yards and four touchdowns on eight carries.  William Lemmon carried the ball nine times for 61 yards.  Brandon Pruitt completed two of three passes for 46 yards and a touchdown.  Danny Butt caught two passes for 46 yards and a touchdown.  William Lemmon led the defense with three solo and four assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss.  S. Fitzgerald added three solo and two assisted tackles.  Peyton Phelps recorded two solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.

Alex Spencer ran for five touchdowns to lead Johnson County to a 38-20 victory over Lone Oak.  Johnson County recorded 15 first downs and 288 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 19 yards and lost a fumble.  Lone Oak recorded 10 first downs and 200 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 31 yards and lost two fumbles.

Alex Spencer led Johnson County’s ground attack with 246 yards and five touchdowns on 24 carries.  Kris Burke led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles.  Devon Patrick added three solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Tyler Wagoner recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 15 yards.  Wagoner also recovered a fumble.

Torrence Rouse led Lone Oak’s ground game with 55 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.  Cash Jones completed nine of 16 passes for 129 yards and a touchdown.  Darien Woods caught three passes for 37 yards.  Mason Woley caught a 63 yard touchdown pass.  L. Rutherford led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles.  Darien Woods added four solo and one assisted tackles.  Torrence Rouse recorded four solo tackles.

Paul L. Dunbar 34  Mercer County 32 – Dunbar QB Blake Martin carried the ball 15 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns and completed eight of 14 passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs to their first victory of the year.

Scott County 41  Simon Kenton 0 – Josh Walls carried the ball six times for 126 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Cardinals tonight.

Highlands 63  Ryle 14 – QB Patrick Towles completed 14 of 25 passes for 330 yards including TD passes of 36, 40, 54, and 5 yards to lead the Bluebirds.

Bourbon County 55  Paris 7 – Kentayvous Hopkins scored on runs of 56, 67, and 48 yards and caught a 24 yard touchdown pass to lead the victors.

Bell County 25  Harlan County 14 – Bell County scored on long touchdown runs by Cory Davenport (69 yards), Jonathan Polly (84 yards), and Corey Oslonian (75 yards) to hand Harlan County their first loss of the year.

Breathitt County 41  Clay County 16 – Breathitt County improves to 10-0 for the season.

Green County 52  Lexington Christian Academy 13 – Donovan Burton ran for 239 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Dragons.

St. Xavier 7  Cincinnati St. Xavier 3 – Dakota Jones scored on a 65 yard interception return to give Louisville St. Xavier the victory.

Ballard 28  Campbell County 21 – QB Tyler Owen completed 16 of 24 passes for 229 yards including TD passes of 6 and 20 yards to lead Ballard.  Cam Lewis caught eight passes for 141 yards including a six yard touchdown catch.

Bardstown 22  North Oldham 20 – Jordan Brewer ran for two touchdowns as the Tigers improve to 9-1.

Butler 24  Meade County 14 – QB JD Morgan completed 19 of 34 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown to lead the Bears.

Eastern 31  Western 6 – QB Tanner Evans passed for 264 yards including TD passes of 48, 54, 21, and 17 yards to lead the victors.

South Oldham 34  Shelby County 16 -  Stewart Williams caught TD passes of 70, 21, and 19 yards to lead South Oldham.

Valley 38  Waggener 27 – Lee Lee Hayden carried the ball 20 times for 270 yards including touchdown runs of 45, 18, and 42 yards to lead Valley.

DeSales 36  Southern 21 – Cory LaFever ran for 178 yards including touchdown runs of 8, 1, and seven yards to lead the victors.  Southern was led by Marus Bennett who carried the ball 11 times for 186 yards including a 40 yard touchdown run.

Male 41  Christian Academy of Louisville 28 – QB Lorenz Barbour threw for 303 yards including touchdown passes of 44 and 15 yards.

Pleasure Ridge Park 32  Central 30 – Central was called for an intentional grounding on a pass from the end zone to give PRP the victory.  Spencer Sumpter completed 11 of 21 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns to lead the victors.  Anthony Wales carried the ball 14 times for 188 yards including TD runs of 2, 69, and 49 yards to lead Central.

Bowling Green improved their season record to 10-0 with a 30-12 victory over Lexington Catholic who falls to 8-2 for the season.  Bowling Green led 13-0 at halftime and held Lexington Catholic to -9 yards rushing in the first half.  Bowling Green had the size 6-6 315 pound Sr. guard Joe Manley, the speed Nacarius Fant (seven receptions for 155 yards and a 69 yard punt return for a touchdown), and the skill players Fant, Hunter Neveras, and Scooter Hollis,etc.  plus a physical, quick defensive unit that proved to much for Lexington Catholic.  This is a good LexCath team with impressive road victories over Bell County and Boyle County.

Bowling Green recorded 15 first downs and 350 yards of total offense.  The Purples were penalized nine times for 61 yards.  Lexington Catholic recorded 14 first downs and 233 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized three times for 30 yards, lost three fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Hunter Neveras led Bowling Green’s ground game with 43 yards on 14 carries.  Scooter Hollis completed 14 of 27 passes for 239 yards and a touchdown.  Nacarius Fant caught seven passes for 155 yards.  Sam Wilson added four receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown.  M. Carpenter led the defense with six solo tackles.  Chase Proctor added four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 13 yards.  Michael Bailey also recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 13 yards.  Bailey also recovered a fumble.

Amoh Kumengisa led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 89 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Kyle Bolin completed 17 of 28 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  David Bouvier caught seven points for 68 yards.  Adam Bush added five receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown.  Derek Hayden led the defense with seven solo tackles.   Jordan Artrip added five solo and four assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.  Adam Wachs added six solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling five yards.  Alex Nash recorded four solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 14 yards.
