Rick Bolus’ 39th Annual High Potential Blue Chip Basketball Camp (Boys) (June 24-28, 2018)

Junior Division All-Star Game – This game was highly anticipated as the Junior Division was loaded with talent this year.  The “Heather” team defeated the “Gold” team by a score of 57-44.  Turrell Cleaves 6-2 Fr. Butler Traditional Louisville KY was named Co-MVP from the “Heather” team and scored nine points.  Parker Nicholson 6-0 Fr. East Hickman Lyles TN also scored nine points.  Isaiah Smith 5-8 Fr. TBA Louisville KY was close behind with eight points.  Zach Amonett 6-2 Fr. Pickett County Byrdstown TN was named Co-MVP from the “Gold” team and scored 10 points.  Adam Pruitt 6-1 Fr. Bullitt East Mt. Washington KY added eight points including two three point baskets.  JD  Kendall 5-11 8th Grade Harrison County M.S. Cynthiana KY recorded seven points and Andrew Floyd 5-10 Fr. Raceland-Worthington Raceland KY chipped in with six points.

High School Division 2nd 20 All-Star Game – The “Gold” team defeated the “Heather” team by a score of 40-36.  Leroy Thomas 5-10 Jr. Central Louisville KY was named Co-MVP from the “Gold” team and scored nine points.  Jalen Bowles 5-11 Jr. Covington Catholic Covington KY added six points on two three point baskets.  Patrick Memong 6-2 Jr. Uplift Chicago IL impressed with his hustle and toughness and scored four points.  Jack Kisselbaugh 6-2 Sr. Central Hardin Cecilia KY was named Co-MVP from the “Heather” team and scored eight points.  Gavin Spurrier 6-4 Sr. South Warren Bowling Green KY added five points.

High School Division Top 20 All-Star Game – The “Gold” team defeated the “Heather” team by a score of 56-47.  Jacob Hobbs 6-8 Sr. Central Hardin Cecilia KY was name Co-MVP from the “Gold” team and scored 13 points.  Noah Courtney 6-5 Jr. Male Louisville KY also played extremely well and added 10 points including two three point baskets.  Ben Sisson 6-4 Sr. Highlands Ft. Thomas KY continued his strong week with seven points.  Winston Tulloss 6-4 Sr. Sale Creek Sale Creek TN chipped in with six points.  Trevon Harris 6-2 Jr. John Hardin Elizabethtown KY was named Co-MVP from the “Heather” team and scored 10 points.  Joe Meador 6-7 Jr. Franklin County Frankfort KY added seven points and Cade Cunningham 6-0 Sr. Madisonville-North Hopkins Madisonville KY recorded six points.

All three All-Star Games were impressive as the players and coaches kept the integrity to the game and did not allow the game to regress to a dunk-a-thon or an exhibition of one-on-one moves by these very talented participants.
