Andre Davis threw four touchdown passes to Tequan Claitt to lead Bryan Station to a 28-23 victory over Scott County and snap their winning streak at 22 games.  Scott County led 23-14 after three quarters but Bryan Station cut the deficit to 23-21 early in the final quarter.  Bryan Station’s Devon Key recovered Clay McKee’s fumble on the Scott County 46 yard line.  Andre Davis completed a 42 yard pass to Tequan Claitt to advance the ball to the Scott County nine yard line.  After Davis suffered a sack on third-and-goal Davis threw a 19 yard touchdown pass to Claitt and Anthony Lopez added the conversion kick to give Bryan Station a 28-23 lead with 6:26 left in the game.  Scott County moved the ball to the Bryan Station 30 where they were stopped on a fourth-and-two play.  The game had an unusual ending as Bryan Station had a fourth-and 29 from their own 11 yard line.  Andre Davis ran back into his end zone but ran back out to the 11 yard line where he was knocked out of bounds.  Scott County QB Clay McKee threw a pass that fell incomplete as time expired.  However the referees had 1.5 seconds put back on the clock but the final pass attempt was knocked to the ground.  Scott County coach Jim McKee was quick to praise Bryan Station for their effort and for scheduling Highlands and Bowling Green to be prepared to play a game of this magnitude.

Bryan Station recorded 18 first downs and 316 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized nine times for 68 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.  Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 433 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized seven times for 58 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

D’Andre Mack led Bryan Station’s ground game with 67 yards on 10 carries.  Andre Davis completed 19 of 39 passes for 249 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions.  Tequan Claitt caught eight passes for 124 yards and four touchdowns.  Marcus Floyd added four receptions for 34 yards.  D’Andre Mack caught three passes for 38 yards.  Shane Preston led the defense with nine solo and seven assisted tackles.  Devon Key added six solo and 12 assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Chris Jackson and Mahari Sturgis each recovered seven solo and six assisted tackles.  Greg Gerton added seven solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Tequan Claitt added four solo and one assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for 46 yards.
