Cooper 40  South Oldham – QB Tyler Morris ran for 224 yards and scored on a three yard run and threw TD passes of 31, 4, 12, 22, and 18 yards to lead Cooper.

Fern Creek 16  Oldham County 15 – Amadou Sarr kicked a 24 yard field goal in the closing seconds to give Fern Creek the victory.

Lafayette 22  George Rogers Clark 19 – William Johnson ran for 84 yards including a TD and caught scoring passes of 74 and 82 yards from Jeremy Smith to lead the Generals.

Anderson County 72  West Jessamine 18 – QB Seth Carmichael completed 13 of 16 passes for 361 yards and six touchdowns to lead Anderson County.

William Johnson scored three touchdowns and recovered a fumble late in the game to lead Lafayette to a 22-19 victory over George Rogers Clark.  Lafayette improves their record to 6-2 while George Rogers Clark falls to 2-5.  Lafayette recorded 11 first downs and 288 yards of total offense.  The Generals were penalized six times for 56 yards.  George Rogers Clark recorded 18 first downs and 303 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized four times for 37 yards and lost two fumbles.

William Johnson led Lafayette’s ground game with 84 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.  Jeremy Smith completed six of 19 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns.  William Johnson caught three passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns.  Jason Ferguson led the defense with seven solo and seven assisted tackles and a fumble recovery.  Andy Hampton added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Chris Oldham recorded six solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling three yards.

Pokey Harris led George Rogers Clark’s ground game with 138 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries.  Pokey Harris completed four of four passes for 84 yards.  Garrison Conn and Carl Parchment caught one pass each for 32 and 30 yards respectively.  Davon Marshall led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles.  Chase Austin recorded four solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 11 yards.

Trinity improved their record to 7-0 by handing Manual their first loss of the year by a score of 58-7.  Manual falls to 6-1 for the year.  Trinity recorded 19 first downs and 517 yards of total offense.  The Shamrocks were penalized twice for 10 yards and lost one fumble.  Manual recorded 14 first downs and 270 yards of total offense.  They were penalized three times for 21 yards and had one pass intercepted.

D. Dawkins led Trinity’s ground attack with 142 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries.  G. Sauer carried the ball four times for 61 yards and two touchdowns.  T. Wright added 42 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  T. Wright completed 17 of 26 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns.  J. Quick caught six passes for 95 yards and a touchdown.  M. Brewer led the defense with seven solo and two assisted tackles.  J. Hatcher added five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.

D. Romine led Manual’s ground game with 86 yards on 22 carries.  L. Thompson completed eight of 22 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown with one interception.  Q. Sutton caught three passes for 49 yards.  D. Gardener added three receptions for 45 yards.  G. Zuberer caught a 16 yard touchdown pass.  P. Minor led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles.  J. Gardener added six solo tackles.

Scott County wins their seventh in a row with a 48-7 victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay falls to 2-6 for the season.  Scott County averaged a robust seven yards per carry on 50 rushing attempts.  Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 448 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 31 yards.  Henry Clay only managed four first downs and 114 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 64 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Josh Walls led the Scott county ground attack with 114 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Dierrius Dumphord carried the ball 14 times for 76 yards and two touchdowns.  Kevo Edwards carried the ball nine times for 72 yards and two touchdowns.  Ben Lawler completed four of six passes for 97 yards and a touchdown.  Nick Smith caught two passes for 53 yards and a touchdown.  Scott Daniel caught two passes for 44 yards.  Jordan Kindred led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.  Jervon Christopher and Josh Walls each recorded two solo and two assisted tackles.  Walls had 1.5 tackles which resulted in losses of two yards.  Jordan Sinclair recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling nine yards.

Christian Todd led henry Clay’s ground game with 45 yards on three carries.  Christian Todd completed three of 10 passes for 31 yards with one interception.  Sammy Carter completed his only pass for 21 yards and a touchdown.  Evan Lawrence caught two passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.  Lakwon Givens led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Hagan Bradley added two solo and eight assisted tackles.  Dorian Robinson recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 11 yards.

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 41-0 first quarter lead in a 69-6 victory over Taylor County.  Lexington Catholic improves their record to 7-1 while Taylor County drops to 3-4 for the season.  Lexington Catholic recorded 10 first downs and 270 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized four times for 21 yards and did not suffer any turnovers.  Taylor County recorded six first downs and 142 yards of total offense.  They were penalized once for five yards and lost four fumbles.

Amoh Kumengisa led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 32 yards on two carries.  Kairon Snowden carried the ball five times for 19 yards and two touchdowns.  Kyle Bolin completed six of eight passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns.  Justin Brownell caught two passes for 26 yards.  Casey Nash, Malik Guidry, and Mike Lynch had touchdown receptions of 38, 31, and 12 yards respectively.  Chase Boling led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Chris Noll added three solo and three assisted tackles.

The laser-like accuracy of QB Logan Woodside (nine of 10 completions and four touchdowns) and the exploits of Ryan Timmons (seven touchdowns) propelled Franklin County to a 57-25 victory over Woodford County.  Franklin County improves to 8-0 and woodford County falls to 4-3 for the season.  Franklin County recorded 14 first downs and 479 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized six times for 55 yards and lost three fumbles.  Woodford County recorded 16 first downs and 371 yards of total offense.  The Yellowjackets were penalized six times for 31 yards and lost a fumble.

Ryan Timmons led Franklin County’s ground game with 171 yards and four touchdowns on five carries.  Chris Roberts carried the ball seven times for 54 yards.  Logan Woodside completed nine of 10 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns.  Ryan Timmons caught five passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns.  Damani Aziz led the defense with six solo and seven assisted tackles.  Jay Brough added four solo and seven assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of nine yards.  Josh Pedrone recorded two solo and 10 assisted tackles.

Brandon Campbell led Woodford County’s ground game with 118 yards on 18 carries.  Samuel Rusher carried the ball 16 times for 98 yards and a touchdown.  Michael Rusher added 43 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Matt Couch completed six of 12 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown.  Michael Rusher caught four passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.  Conrad Smart led the defense with two solo and three assisted tackles.  Chad Hunter added two solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of four yards.

Madison Central defeated Tates Creek 39-14 to improve their record to 3-4 for the season and drop Tates Creek to 3-5 for the season.  Madison Central recorded 20 first downs and 431 yards of total offense.  The Indians were penalized twice for 10 yards.  Tates Creek recorded six first downs and 134 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized three times for 25 yards and lost two fumbles.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central’s ground attack with 143 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries.  Jamez Chenault carried the ball 14 times for 95 yards.  Hunter Stocker completed 10 of 15 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown.  Jamez Chenault caught four passes for 31 yards.  Ken’Jah Bosley added two receptions for 41 yards.  Hunter Allen caught an 18 yard TD pass.  Tucker Fair led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in losses totalling nine yards.  Austin Coyle recorded two solo and two assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards.

Dennis Oxendine led Tates Creek’s ground game with 25 yards on seven carries.  Casey Grimes carried the ball nine times for 24 yards.  Martell Berry completed five of 14 passes for 91 yards and a touchdown.  TaVon Dunn caught two passes for nine yards.  RJ Taylor caught a 67 yard TD pass.  William Hardin led the defense with eight solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.  Zach Hinds added five solo and one assisted tackles.

Anderson County rolled up 645 yards of total offense in a 72-18 victory over West Jessamine to improve their record to 6-1 for the season.  West Jessamine remains winless at 0-8 for the season.  Anderson County recorded 23 first downs and 645 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized seven times for 53 yards and had a pass intercepted.  West Jessamine recorded 14 first downs and 301 yards of total offense.  The Colts were penalized four times for 15 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted.

Ethan Kelly led Anderson County’s ground game with 92 yards on 10 carries.  Granville Hayes carried the ball five times for 67 yards and two touchdowns.  Seth Carmichael completed 13 of 16 passes for 361 yards and six touchdowns with one interception.  Granville Hayes caught four passes for 88 yards and one touchdown.  Ross Cox caught two passes for 112 yards and a touchdown.  B. Curtsinger added two receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown.  Seth Carmichael led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles.  Ross Cox added three solo and two assisted tackles.

Romandon Tatum led West Jessamine’s ground game with 156 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  Devin Taylor carried the ball 10 times for 47 yards.  Ryan Horne added 44 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  Ryan Horne completed three of eight passes for 53 yards and a touchdown.  Brent Bailey caught a 27 yard TD pass.  Robert Irgang led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Devin Taylor added three solo and four assisted tackles.
