Pikeville vs. Incarnate Word (MO)

Pikeville coach Kristy Orem started the following lineup: 5-6 Sr. Kyera Thornsbury, 5-6 Sr. Trinity Rowe, 5-6 So. Shyla Kidd, 5-3 So. Kylie Alvin, and 5-5 Sr. Kristen Whited. Incarnate Word (MO) coach Dan Rolfes countered with 6-0 Sr. Kaylynn James, 5-10 Jr. Navaeh Caffey, 6-0 Sr. Abbie Sexto, 5-8 Sr. Zoe Best, and 5-10 Jr. Peyton Hill.

Incarnate Word outscored Pikeville 19-6 in the second quarter on their way to a 62-40 victory. There were four lead changes and one tie in this game. Incarnate Word shot 44.2% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line. The Red Knights connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 17 Pikeville turnovers. Pikeville shot 41.5% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Panthers connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored two points off seven Incarnate Word turnovers.

Peyton Hill led Incarnate Word with 24 points including two three point baskets, six of eight free throws, and six rebounds. Navaeh Caffey added 13 points including four of four free throws, six rebounds, and three steals. Zoe Best recorded eight points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Abbie Sextro chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots. 5-4 So. Addi Owen added six points on two three point baskets.

Pikeville vs. Christian Academy of Louisville

Pikeville coach Kristy Orem started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Leighan Jackson, 5-6 Sr. Kyera Thornsbury. 5-10 Sr. Rylee Theiss, 5-5 Sr. Kristen Whited, and 5-6 Sr. Trinity Rowe. Christian Academy of Louisville coach Byron Wilkins countered with 5-9 So. Brianna Wilkins, 5-8 So. Jaida Allen, 5-9 So. Ava Moore, 5-7 8th Grade Kylie Moore, and 5-7 Jr. Bailee Duck.

Pikeville defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by the score of 62-55. There were 11 lead changes and seven ties in this game. Pikeville shot 41.4% from the field including nine of 28 from the three point line. The Lady Panthers connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 CAL turnovers. CAL shot 41.1% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Centurions connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Pikeville turnovers.

Trinity Rowe led Pikeville with 16 points including three three point baskets and nine assists. Rylee Theiss added 10 points and eight rebounds. Kristen Whited recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, three assists, and two steals. Leighan Jackson chipped in with eight points and 11 rebounds. Kyera Thornsbury recorded eight points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. 5-3 So. Kylee Alvin added eight points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists.

Bailee Duck led Christian Academy of Louisville with 19 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Brianna Wilkins added 18 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and four assists. Kylie Moore recorded eight points and seven rebounds. Jaida Allen chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds.

Ryle coach Katie Haitz countered with 6-0 Sr. Quinn Eubank, 5-10 So. Jaelyn Jones, 6-2 Sr. Sarah Baker, 5-4 Sr. Kassidy Peters, and 5-8 Sr. Gracie Carrigan.

Ryle outscored Bullitt East 19-7 in the second quarter on their way to a 48-35 victory. Ryle shot 37.7% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line. The Lady Raiders connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Bullitt East turnovers. Bullitt East shot 28% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Chargers connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Ryle turnovers.

Jaelyn Jones led Ryle with 22 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, two blocked shots, and five steals. Quinn Eubank added 14 points, 17 rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and three steals. Sarah Baker recorded five points, five rebounds, and two steals.

Mollie Johnston led Bullitt East with 10 points including two three point baskets, and three rebounds. Jada Hughes added six points and seven rebounds. Anna Rodgers recorded six points. Anna Tinelli chipped in with five points, three rebounds, and three assists. Lyla Packer added two points, six rebounds, and one blocked shot.

Peyton Hill scored a basket with 3.8 seconds remaining in the game to give Incarnate Word a 52-50 victory over Sacred Heart Academy for their 116th consecutive victory. There were three lead changes and eight ties in this game. Incarnate Word shot 41.2% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line. The Red Knights connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Sacred Heart turnovers. Sacred Heart shot 47.6% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc. The Valkyries connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 12 Incarnate Word turnovers.

Navaeh Caffey led Incarnate Word with 21 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Peyton Hill added 18 points, 12 rebounds, and three steals. Kaylynn James recorded 10 points including two three point baskets, and four rebounds.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart with 25 points including six of seven free throws, six rebounds, and two steals. Reagan Bender added 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, and five steals. Emi-Lee Howe recorded seven points and two rebounds. Claire Russell chipped in with two points and nine rebounds. Amirah Jordan added three points and five assists.

Cooper defeated Pickerington Central (OH) by the score of 59-53. The score was tied four times and there were seven lead changes in the game. Cooper shot 48.8% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Jaguars connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Pickerington Central turnovers. Pickerington Central shot 48.8% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc. The Tigers connected on four of five free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Cooper turnovers.

Logan Palmer led Cooper with 25 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and two steals. Haylee Noel added 12 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists. Liz Freihofer recorded 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Bella Deere chipped in with seven points, five rebounds, and two assists.

Rylee Bess led Pickerington Central with 17 points including five three point baskets, and two assists. Berry Wallace added 12 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, and five rebounds. Blossom Wallace recorded eight points and three rebounds. Zoe Coleman chipped in with six points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Owensboro Catholic outscored Mercy Academy 31-3 in the third quarter on their way to a 74-37 victory. Owensboro Catholic shot 52.6% from the field including nine of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Aces connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 19 Mercy Academy turnovers. Mercy Academy shot 26% from the field including seven of 31 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off 16 Owensboro Catholic turnovers.

Karmin Riley led Owensboro Catholic with 21 points including five three point baskets, and two assists. Delaney Cooper added 14 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. Jenna Krampe recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one blocked shot, and four steals. Hailee Johnson chipped in with 11 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Aubrey Randolph added seven points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Abby Reitzel led Mercy Academy with 11 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Hadle O’Bryan added eight points including two three point baskets. Olivia Pifer recorded seven points, five rebounds, and three steals.
