Paul VI coach Scott Allen started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Jaelyn Talley, 6-0 Jr. Fiona Hastick, 6-1 Sr. Lee Volker, 5-9 Sr. Isabella Perkins, and 6-0 Jr. Alyssa Costigan.  Westlake coach Hilda Hankerson countered with 6-0 Sr. Misia McKinney, 5-10 Sr. Raven Johnson, 6-2 Jr. Brianna Turnage, 5-9 Jr. Taniya Latson, and 5-9 Jr. Camerah Langston.

 

Westlake outscored Paul VI 17-4 in the second quarter on their way to a 70-50 victory.  Westlake shot 47.3% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  They connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 12 Paul VI turnovers.  Paul VI shot 35.7% from the field including three of 17 from beyond the arc.  They connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Westlake turnovers.

 

Taniya Latson led Westlake with 31 points including 12 of 15 free throws, three rebounds, and two assists.  Raven Johnson added 17 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and two steals.  Brianna Turnage recorded 11 points, 11 rebounds, and seven blocked shots.  Camerah Langston chipped in with six points, eight rebounds, and three steals.

 

Jaelyn Talley led Paul VI with 17 points including four of four free throws, six rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.  Isabella Perkins added 14 points including two three point baskets.  Lee Volker recorded 10 points and four rebounds.
